Car plows through Trump supporters at BLM protest in California, police charge driver with attempted murder

 

A car reportedly plowed through a crowd in California as Black Lives Matter protesters clashed with counter-protesters. This is the third such instance in California in just one week.

The incident in Yorba Linda, California reportedly occurred after counter-protesters crossed the highway to confront Black Lives Matter demonstrators. Initial reports suggested that the white sedan tore through both groups as their demonstrations met in a parking lot, but footage shows that the driver got in [her] car following an argument with Trump supporters and ripped through them.

Police arrested the driver, 40-year-old Tatiana Turner, and charged her with assault with a deadly weapon and attempted murder.

Initial reporting from The Orange County Register suggested that two people were injured.

The Orange County Sheriff's Department released a statement hours after the vehicular attack, stating that the protest resulted in two arrests, and two injuries.

"On September 17, the Orange County Sheriff's Department became aware of a protest planned in the city of Yorba Linda for today at 2p.m. by a group called Caravan for Justice. Shortly after, a counter protest was planned for the same time. Deputies were present at the beginning of the protests to protect the constitutional rights of all individuals and to protect life and property. Just after the beginning of the protests, it is estimated there were approximately 150 individuals total," the police wrote.

Caravan for Justice is a Black Lives Matter-affiliated organization that drove through California following the death of George Floyd in late May.

"Approximately 30 minutes after the protests began, we began to receive reports of physical altercations occurring between the two protest groups, including at least one individual who was pepper sprayed by another protester," stated the police.

Statements on the ground provided to The Post Millennial by independent videographer Tomas Morales suggests that Caravan for Justice protesters pepper sprayed Trump supporters without cause or provocation.

"Today was chaos. BLM started 100% everything. They started pepper spraying for no reason. I got peppered sprayed for filming & accosted," said Morales. "I was at their event & a BLM organizer was instructing people to use force against Trump supporters."

According to the police, the physical altercations and reports of individuals in the crowd having weapons prompted them to declare an unlawful assembly and issue a dispersal order. One man, Jason Mancuso, 46, of Anaheim, was reportedly arrested for refusing to obey the order.

"At approximately 3p.m. after several dispersal orders, a vehicle in the parking lot of the Yorba Linda Public Library at 18181 Imperial Highway struck at least two individuals," stated the OCSD. "The driver, believed to be part of the Caravan for Justice, continued to leave the parking lot and was detained a short distance away from the incident. The two people struck, a man and a woman believed to be at the protest, were transported to a nearby hospital with major injuries but are expected to survive."

According to police, the driver, Tatiana Turner, 40, of Long Beach, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and attempted murder. Police say she will be booked into the Orange County Jail and that an investigation is ongoing.

Anti-Police Activist Arrested for Defrauding Donors

The FBI arrested an anti-police activist in Toledo, Ohio, on Friday on federal charges of wire fraud and money laundering.

Tyree Conyers-Page, who led anti-police protests following the death of George Floyd in May, was arrested at his home Friday morning for accepting thousands in donations through a Black Lives Matter Facebook account he created. The FBI accuses Conyers-Page of using $200,000 in donations for personal use, including purchasing a house, clothing, and accessories. 

Conyers-Page established a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2016 under the name Black Lives Matter of Greater Atlanta after being booted from the official Atlanta chapter of Black Lives Matter. He created a BLMGA Facebook page, through which donors gave money to his nonprofit. Conyers-Page continued to accept donations through the Facebook page after the IRS revoked his nonprofit status last year for repeatedly failing to file as a nonprofit. 

The Toledo Blade reported Friday that Conyers-Page was a "leading figure" at multiple anti-police marches in protests in Toledo this summer with the local activist group Hi-Frequency. Toledo police chief George Kral joined one of his marches on June 1.  

Conyers-Page was arrested at a Toledo city council meeting last year for disrupting the meeting. He became a leader in local anti-police movements—making radio and television appearances as well as meeting with local governments in Toledo and Atlanta—despite being labeled a "fraud" by other activists.

Trump takes action to pull federal funds from NYC, other cities that 'permit anarchy'

One administration official explained, 'President Trump is ensuring taxpayer dollars are not wasted by lawless mayors.'

President Donald Trump has ordered federal agencies to find ways to "defund" cities that have permitted "anarchy" amid the ongoing riots in the U.S., according to an exclusive report from the New York Post.

What are the details?

"My Administration will not allow Federal tax dollars to fund cities that allow themselves to deteriorate into lawless zones," the president wrote in a memo to agencies, according to The Post. "To ensure that Federal funds are neither unduly wasted nor spent in a manner that directly violates our Government's promise to protect life, liberty, and property, it is imperative that the Federal Government review the use of Federal funds by jurisdictions that permit anarchy, violence, and destruction in America's cities."

New York City, Washington, D.C., Seattle, and Portland are targeted in the report, and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio's name is invoked twice. De Blasio has repeatedly asked the federal government to bail out his city citing revenue losses due to COVID-19 lockdowns after he pulled roughly $1 billion from the NYPD budget at the request of protesters amid soaring crime rates.

President Trump's memo reportedly calls out the cities for "failed leadership" as rioters have burned businesses, threatened officials (including the mayors themselves) and incited violence. He added, "As a result of these State and local government policies, persistent and outrageous acts of violence and destruction have continued unabated in many of America's cities, such as Portland, Seattle, and New York."

The president's move comes after he has repeatedly offered federal law enforcement assistance to Democrat-run cities who have rejected his offers while leaders simultaneously acted to steer funds away from their own police departments amid the unrest.

One unnamed senior administration official told The Post, "taxpayers shouldn't foot the bill for local politicians' dereliction of duty." The person added, "President Trump is ensuring taxpayer dollars are not wasted by lawless mayors."

Protests devolving into violence have plagued cities across the U.S. since late May following the death of George Floyd, a black man who died in police custody in Minneapolis.

Democratic politicians largely supported the protests in the beginning and marched in solidarity with organizations such as Black Lives Matter, with some even egging on the unrest. But as the destruction has started to impact polling numbers, Democrats — including Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden — have started clarifying their messages, adding that violence is not warranted in the demonstrations for justice.

Seattle Police Discover Weapons While Sweeping Camp Near Fmr. ‘CHOP’ Zone

 

Seattle police finish their sweep Wednesday, July 1, 2020, on the north end of Cal Anderson Park, sweeping everyone off the grounds. 

Seattle police cleared out a camp in a public park this week, citing numerous fires and acts of vandalism. According to reports, police coordinated with the parks department to clear trash and tents piling up in a park in the city’s Capitol Hill neighborhood.

Authorities confirmed they found several weapons during the sweep, including spike strips, knives and shields.

The operation drew a response from activists, who claimed they wanted to use the park to provide services to the area’s homeless population.

Seven people were arrested during the operation.

Around 100 people marched on the police department’s East Precinct that evening in protest. These demonstrations occurred in same area as the defunct ‘CHOP’ zone, which was dismantled at the beginning of July.

Universities Helped Train the Rioters Burning American Cities by 'Cranking Out Utter Madness'

College campuses have become training camps for radicals and are the source of the rioting in American cities, according to academics and college officials interviewed by CBN News. 

Portland State philosophy Prof. Peter Boghossian says college campuses are, without question, the source of the 'woke' movement that inspires the rioters in America's cities. 

"One hundred percent of it, absolutely, categorically, and unequivocally," he said. "The universities are cranking out utter madness."

College professors have been among those arrested in the rioting. 

Prof. Erin Thompson at the City University of New York tweeted this advice to rioters pulling down statues: "Use chain instead of rope and it'll go faster."

"I've actually been there in the midst of many of these riots. I've seen it up close and personal, and many of the rioters are indistinguishable from the people you see on campus," says Cabot Phillips, Editor-in-Chief of Campus Reform. "Because there have been so few consequences when they do go out onto these campuses and riot and protest, they've been able to test out what works. They've been able to see how they can create the most destruction, get the most outrage, and then carry that out into cities around the country."

The radical movement that used to be confined to some academic departments now dominates whole campuses.  

Cal-Riverside Prof. Reza Aslan, who has also been a CNN host, said all Trump backers are white nationalist terror supporters who must be "eradicated from society." 

University of California Santa Barbara religion Prof. Timothy Snediker tweeted that if he had a time machine he would go back and "assassinate Jesus". 

Boghossian says 'Woke' ideology is "the dominant moral orthodoxy in virtually every campus that's now spilled out into everything. It's tech, it's media. It's…CNN is completely woke."

Cornell Law School Prof. William Jacobson, who monitors campus radicalism on his website Legal Insurrection says, "We never thought the craziness, the absolute insanity that we saw on campus would amount to anything. And what we didn't realize is that the campus moved into the culture. The students who were weaned or indoctrinated on radical ideologies and racial politics in the worst ways would then move on to corporations and would move into journalism. They are the people deciding at Twitter and Facebook and YouTube who gets silenced and who gets banned."

Jacobson has been censured by his dean and formally denounced by 21 Cornell faculty members for speaking out against the rioting and Black Lives Matter. 

But the most tragic case of campus persecution of conservatives is UNC Wilmington criminology Prof. Mike Adams. 

A Christian, he was a guest on The 700 Club.  

Hounded by the Left for years, Adams killed himself one month ago.

Boghossian says "Woke" ideology on college campuses has become a "civilizational threat," and he thinks it's already too late to save some colleges.

"I used to think three, four years ago that if we just de-funded certain departments, we could save this off a little bit," Boghossian said. "We are well beyond that. Now, now I think that the whole system has to be bulldozed."

Americans have subsidized a university system that teaches that the US government is fundamentally evil and must be torn down.

And that is exactly what rioters are trying to do.

Civil Rights Hero Leo Terrell Goes After Juan Willams and Shreds Him From Stem to Stern

 Sure, Juan Williams is used to getting shredded every single day of his life on “The Five,” and while those smackdowns are indeed brutal, the political beatdown he took from Civil Rights hero Leo Terrell takes the cake.

Terrell was responding to yet another dishonest and clueless piece written by Juan Williams for The Hill.

In the piece, Williams criticized Black Americans who appeared at the RNC Convention.

Juan argues that the only reason the RNC featured Black folks was to convince suburban women that Trump’s not “racist,” and to try and convince all Trump’s male white voters that they’re not racist if they vote for him.

What a stupid theory.

So, basically Juan thinks so little of black people, that in his mind all they’re worth is a few “brownie points” with white voters?

Sick.

Juan is a twisted and mentally deranged man and he’s in the correct political party with that sickness and attitude.

Here’s what he said:

“So why, then, did the Trump campaign spend so much convention time having black faces lead a ‘gaslight’ crusade to create an alternate reality in which Trump is a man intent on healing racial wounds? Well, it is a mistake to think those black faces on the convention stage were speaking to black people. They were on stage to speak to white women in the suburbs and white men in Trump’s base.”

For obvious reasons, that “hot take” from Juan didn’t sit well with Mr. Terrell – a figurehead in the civil rights movement – who, until recently was himself a Democrat. But thanks to the radicalization of the party – where they’re all basically communists now – he left.

Terrell fired back at dopey Juan, calling his piece one of the most untruthful opinion pieces ever written. OUCH! He then went on to say that Juan’s opinion was “worthless.”

Truer words have never been spoken…

Here’s what Mr. Terrell said to Juan Williams: “This is one of the most untruthful opinion pieces ever written. How dare you question the motives of Blacks supporting Trump. You are entitled to your worthless opinion. ”

There is nobody who disrespects the opinion, intentions, and thoughts of Black Americans more than the Democrat Party.

If you don’t walk in lockstep with the Dems and their hopeless and miserable agenda, you are branded a liar, and an “Uncle Tom,” and a fraud.

There’s no room for free-thinking with liberals. It’s their way or the highway.

How in God’s name is that a “tolerant” attitude?

Clearly, it’s not. And that’s why so many people are literally walking away from the phony Democrats.

Tom Cotton Backs Bill to Strip Rioters of Federal Unemployment Benefits

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) introduced Rep. Jim Banks’ (R-IN) legislation in the Senate on Monday that would eliminate convicted rioters’ federal unemployment benefits and have the rioters pay for the cost of federal policing of riots.

Cotton announced that he would introduce Banks’ Support for Peaceful Protest Act in the Senate. In a statement on Monday, the Arkansas conservative said that the federal government should not subsidize rioting and looting. 

Cotton said:

Currently, thugs and insurrectionists savaging communities around the country are eligible for unemployment benefits, paid for by the very taxpayers whose property they’ve destroyed. The federal government should not be subsidizing looting and arson. Our bill will not only halt unemployment benefits for rioters but also fine them to help cover additional policing cost.

When Banks introduced his legislation, he said that rioters need to feel the financial consequences of their actions.

The Hoosier conservative said:

Antifa thugs are descending on suffering communities, disrupting peaceful protests and leaving violence, looting, and vandalism in their wake. They turned Milwaukee, Seattle, and Portland into warzones, and now they’re moving the chaos to Kenosha, Wisconsin. Who knows which community is next?

Due to enhanced federal benefits, taxpayers are giving wages to jobless rioters that are destroying our communities. We need to cut them off from their funding and make them feel the full financial consequences of their actions.

Cotton’s cosponsorship of Banks’ legislation arises as unrest, rioting, and looting have continued in major cities across America.

Further, former Vice President Joe Biden blamed President Donald Trump for the escalating violence in America’s cities during a press conference on Monday.

“Incapable of facing the facts and incapable of healing. He doesn’t want to shed light, he wants to generate heat, and he’s ‘stroking’ violence in our cities,” Biden said.

“Fires are burning, and we have a president who fans the flames, rather than fighting the flames. But we must not burn, we have to build,” he added.

Trump Goes After Failed Democrat-Run Cities As Violence Erupts In Chicago And NYC

 President Trump emphasized at the Republican National Convention last week that Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden is ignoring the surge in violent crime across major US metropolitan areas. 

"When there is police misconduct, the justice system must hold wrongdoers fully and completely accountable, and it will. But what we can never have in America — and must never allow — is mob rule," the president said. "In the strongest possible terms, the Republican Party condemns the rioting, looting, arson, and violence we have seen in Democrat-run cities like Kenosha, Minneapolis, Portland, Chicago, and New York."

With 64 days left until the Nov. 3 election, Trump is once again making the implosion of Democrat-run cities a centerpiece of his campaign against Biden. 

"This election will decide whether we will defend the American way of life, or whether we allow a radical movement to completely dismantle and destroy it," Trump said at the convention.The continuing violence seen in Democrat-run cities, like Chicago and New York City, is alarming and explains why city-dwellers are fleeing for suburban life.  

To Trump's point, at least 40 people were shot, including ten fatally, during another weekend of soaring gun violence in Chicago, America's murder capital. 

The city's most recent shooting occurred Sunday afternoon at the Lumes Pancake House in the 11600 block of Western Avenue. Five people were injured, and one died after an unidentified person in a white SUV opened fire at diners enjoying a weekend meal at the outdoor restaurant, reported NBC Chicago. 

In response, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani tweeted Sunday: "4 police officers shot: 2 in Democrat St. Louis, 2 in Chicago." 

Giuliani continued, "@realDonaldTrump has offered both Federal assistance. Hidin' Biden finally stated his basement. but said nothing about this violence at DNC. "Silence is assent." (Biden, DNC, 2020.) " 

As for the city formerly governed by Giuliani, New York has yet to release official data of violent crime this weekend, but the union representing 50,000 active and retired NYPD police officers in the city said "25 people were shot from Saturday morning to 7 am today. That makes 58 people shot this week. That's a 100% increase in shooting victims from the same week last year." 

While the Biden campaign has only just begun to condemn the ongoing violence in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and elsewhere, the Trump administration's angle of attack should be very clear to readers: convince American voters Republicans can save imploding Democrat-run cities, just like Giuliani did in the early 1990s when exhausted voters handed him control o Democrat-dominated New York.

Motorcycle Club Crashes Black Lives Matter Street Protest in Florida – Starts Chanting, “USA! USA!…”

Black Lives Matter were having a perfectly fine protest against cops in Florida on Friday when several members of the local motorcycle club interrupted their march by revving their engines as they drove through the protest.

Of course, the cop-hating BLM activists complained to the police and demanded they be arrested on noise charges.

They hate cops until they need cops.

To make matters worse the bikers started chanting “USA! USA!…”

Trump Unloads On Portland Democrat Mayor After He Refused Federal Help, Protester Killed

President Donald Trump unloaded on Portland Democratic Mayor Ted Wheeler on Sunday morning after a right-wing protester was killed in the city following Wheeler’s decision to reject federal assistance from the Trump administration.

“The shooting happened after right-wing protesters drove trucks around the city with American flags and Trump flags and were met by far-left antifa activists who blocked traffic and threw things at the vehicles, which often elicited a response from the vehicles,” The Daily Wire reported. “Video of the attack that was posted online showed the shooting and, according to two journalists, appeared to show someone saying, ‘we got a Trumper right here,’ before two fatal shots were fired at the victim.”

The president retweeted dozens of tweets, quote retweeted other tweets, and added additional tweets attacking Wheeler over the chaos in the city.

Trump highlighted a video that showed far-left antifa extremists throwing objects and liquids, which some journalists said was urine, at a caravan of trucks that had American and Trump flags.

“The big backlash going on in Portland cannot be unexpected after 95 days of watching and incompetent Mayor admit that he has no idea what he is doing,” Trump tweeted. “The people of Portland won’t put up with no safety any longer.The Mayor is a FOOL. Bring in the National Guard!”

“Our great National Guard could solve these problems in less than 1 hour. Local authorities must ask before it is too late. People of Portland, and other Democrat run cities, are disgusted with Schumer, Pelosi, and their local ‘leaders’. They want Law & Order!,” Trump continued, later adding: “Wheeler is incompetent, much like Sleepy Joe Biden. This is not what our great Country wants. They want Safety & Security, and do NOT want to Defund our Police!”

Trump quote retweeted another video that showed far-left antifa extremists attacking people walking on a sidewalk, writing: “ANTIFA is a Radical Left group that only wants bad things for our Country. They are supported by $FOOLS!”

Videos that were posed online showed the far-left antifa extremists celebrating after learning that the right-wing protester had been killed.

“It is still early in this investigation, and I ask everyone to give the detectives time to do their important work before drawing conclusions about what took place,” said Police Chief Chuck Lovell. “If anyone can provide information about this case, I ask them to please reach out to our detectives. This violence is completely unacceptable and we are working diligently to find and apprehend the individual or individuals responsible.”

Wheeler rejected an offer from the president to come in and clean up the streets by using the national guard.

Wheeler said in a letter:

Yet again, you said you offered to aid Portland by sending in federal law enforcement to our city.

On behalf of the City of Portland: No thanks.

We don’t need your politics of division and demagoguery. Portlanders are onto you. We have already seen your reckless disregard for human life in your bumbling response to the COVID pandemic. And we know you’ve reached the conclusion that images of violence or vandalism are your only ticket to reelection.

There is no place for looting, arson, or vandalism in our city. There is no room here for racist violence or those who wish to bring their ideology of hate into our community. Those who commit criminal acts will be apprehended and prosecuted under the law.

Tens of thousands of Portlanders have peacefully protested and marched for the noble cause of fixing our broken criminal justice system. They are part of the proud progressive tradition of Portlanders fighting for justice – from racial justice to economic justice to environmental justice.

When you sent the Feds to Portland last month, you made the situation far worse. Your offer to repeat that disaster is a cynical attempt to stoke fear and distract us from the real work of our city.

In Portland, we are focused on coming together as a community to solve the serious challenges we face due to systemic racism, a global pandemic and an economic recession.
