HARMONDSWORTH — Following the harrowing ordeal aboard flight FZ 1073 to Tel Aviv, in which he was subdued by passengers while attempting a violent terrorist attack, the FlyDubai hijacker has reportedly already landed a new job at British Airways.

Though the co-pilot, whose identity is still being kept under wraps by authorities, reportedly stabbed the aircraft's captain and attempted to crash the plane before he was stopped by passengers aboard the flight, the incident caught the attention of British Airways recruiters.

"He'll fit in well with the culture we're trying to build in this country," said British Airways spokesperson Samir Abadi. "Once we heard about his actions on board the aircraft and his passion for jihad, we knew he needed to join our team. Devotion to Islam and a desire to kill Jews are just the types of qualities we have started to look for here at British Airways."

When asked if the failure to carry out the attack factored into the airline's decision to hire the hijacker, Abadi said everyone has room for growth. "We like to look at it as an opportunity rather than a deficiency," he explained. "On the bright side, if he had been successful, he would not be alive today for us to hire him. But with the proper training and encouragement, we hope he can reach his full potential with us. Allahu Akbar, death to infidels, and thank you for flying British Airways."

At publishing time, British Airways had reportedly enrolled the co-pilot in its new Future Hijackers Training Program.

Texans are being bombarded with campaign ads supporting James Talarico as millions of dollars are poured into Texas in an effort to flip the U.S. Senate seat.

Anyone who sees these ads will know that the Democrats are trying to position him as a reasonable moderate Democrat who shares Texas’ Christian values.

Obviously that could not be further from the truth.

As is continually exposed, Talarico is a far-left radical who called God non-binary, claimed Jesus was a radical feminist, loves “trans kids,” and now a video shows him telling a Christian congregation to listen to a voice like Muhammad.

The Hospital Hiring Numbers That Have The Trump Admin Demanding Answers

At one hospital, only two Americans were accepted for residency positions.

The Trump administration is demanding answers from a New York hospital over a viral claim that a stunning 80 of 82 residency positions went to foreign doctors on H-1B or J-1 visas, leaving just two positions for Americans.

U.S. Department of Labor Inspector General Anthony D’Esposito demanded Sunday on X that Rochester Regional Health, the parent organization of Rochester General Hospital, provide a breakdown of its residency hires. “Show us the numbers,” D’Esposito said. “How many residency slots went to H-1B and J-1 visa holders? How many American applicants got a fair shot?”

“President [Donald Trump’s] EO puts visa abuse under the microscope,” he added. “If the system is being gamed, we’ll work with [Vice President JD Vance’s] White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud to expose it.”

The Daily Wire reached out to Rochester Regional Health for comment and for a full breakdown of its residency classes. In response, Rochester Regional Health sent the following statement, effectively confirming the statistics while blaming staffing shortages for its reliance on foreign workers:

“Rochester Regional Health is proud to recruit and train highly qualified physicians who meet the rigorous standards of our accredited graduate medical education programs. Our physicians bring exceptional training, skill, and dedication to their patients every day. At a time when physician and nursing shortages are challenging healthcare systems across the country, we remain focused on building a strong healthcare workforce to ensure our patients and communities have access to the care they need.”

According to Ellis, which compiles Department of Labor disclosure data, Rochester General Hospital filed 95 H-1B Labor Condition Applications in 2025 and another 39 in 2026. Its database lists 421 H-1B filings covering 634 positions since 2016, including positions classified as “Medical Resident Physician,” “Medical Resident,” and “Medical Fellow Physician.” Ellis lists 156 “Medical Resident Physician” positions and 43 “Medical Resident” positions among RGH’s H-1B-sponsored positions, along with 39 “Medical Fellow Physician” positions.

Additionally, RGH’s Internal Medicine residency program has 72 residents, according to the American Medical Association’s FREIDA database, with 24 residents in each postgraduate year. The program lists J-1 visa sponsorship for international physicians.

The hospital’s reliance on foreign workers extends beyond doctors, too. In January, WXXI reported that roughly 150 international nurses had relocated to Rochester through Rochester Regional Health’s recruitment program, while another 80 were waiting for visas. RRH officials described international nursing recruitment as an important part of the health system’s workforce strategy. At the time, the officials complained that the pipeline was slowed by the Trump administration’s $100,000 fee for certain new H-1B petitions.

The Rochester controversy comes amid a broader national reliance on immigrant health care workers. Immigrants accounted for 17% of the U.S. health care workforce in 2024, including 28% of physicians and surgeons, according to KFF. Thousands of foreign-trained doctors enter U.S. residency programs each year.

Republican Sen. Eric Schmitt of Missouri criticized the system, writing on X that “our medical system is structurally designed to promote foreign labor and hurt Americans.” Schmitt argued that Americans are “routinely blocked from becoming doctors by our outdated residency match program, in favor of foreign grads.”

The account that first circulated the Rochester claim later posted a chart purporting to show the shockingly high percentages of foreign, compared to American, residents at various U.S. hospitals, while alleging that some foreign doctors had been connected to fake credentials and USMLE cheating scandals.

The residency system is highly competitive, and American medical graduates must secure residency positions before they can practice independently. Critics argue that hospitals should not be turning to foreign workers for positions that could go to qualified Americans, particularly when U.S. medical graduates already face intense competition for limited residency slots.

That concern is at the center of the Rochester controversy. Public records show Rochester General Hospital sponsors H-1B workers, including medical residents, while Rochester Regional Health has actively recruited international nurses.

What remains unclear is whether 80 of the hospital’s 82 residency positions actually went to H-1B or J-1 visa holders, a number that Rochester Regional Health has not yet confirmed. D’Esposito is now demanding that the hospital show exactly how many residency slots went to foreign visa holders and how many went to Americans.

Trump Pentagon launches competition for America's next great military base

Governors will compete to host the massive new military base designed to house up to 25K service members, Hegseth said

 Secretary of War Pete Hegseth on Wednesday announced plans to build a modern, self-sustaining military fortress, saying the site will be selected through a merit-based competition among governors pitching their states as potential locations.

The megaproject, dubbed the "Next Great American Base," was unveiled during an address at Marine Corps Base Quantico as part of Hegseth’s six strategies to modernize the military.

The initiative rejects what Hegseth described as the legacy approach to spend heavily on advanced weapons systems while service members live on aging bases with outdated barracks.

"For too long, our military has been bogged down by the same old tired Washington playbook: spending trillions on exquisite weapons systems, while our troops live in aging bases, outdated barracks, and with inadequate infrastructure. That era is over," Hegseth said.

The ambitious undertaking will feature a brand-new military installation spanning hundreds of thousands of acres and housing up to 25,000 service members.

"We are talking hundreds of thousands of acres with organic power generation, modern air defenses, and cutting edge technology — a fortress," he said.

The installation is expected to provide first-class living conditions, high-end training grounds and essential services such as health care and child care, while operating entirely off the commercial grid with independent power sources.

Hegseth added that the base will support President Donald Trump’s executive order on "Beautiful Civic Architecture," which calls for federal public buildings and military installations to be designed in timeless and classical styles.

"We owe our warriors nothing less than the gold standard," Hegseth said.

Pitch deliberations will be recorded and made public to eliminate "political favoritism," according to the Pentagon.

"No backroom Washington deals. No political favoritism – just a straight-up, merit-based contest to see which state will partner with us to build the most modern, beautiful, and lethal military installation on the planet," Hegseth said.

Texas Dem Talarico Caught In Lie On Trans Insanity

Now, the Democratic Party’s young candidate for Senate in red Texas desperately wants Lone Star State moderate voters to believe he’s had a road to Damascus moment on the subject. 

“I oppose trans athletes playing in girls’ sports if it endangers safety or fairness,” Talarico told Fox News earlier this month. 

His sudden change of heart sounds inauthentic in the way that his professed love of “trans children” comes across as just plain weird. We have the receipts. Unearthed footage exclusively obtained by The Federalist rips off the mask of Talarico’s phony “moderating” position.

Talarico may be creepy, but he isn’t stupid. He’s a slimy politician who knows that all of the wacky stuff he has said to get elected state representative in a far-left Texas district doesn’t play well in the Panhandle and West Texas. He — or at least his deep-pocketed campaign — knows that most Texans don’t believe dudes pretending to be women should be competing in women’s sports. So Talarico, in political parlance, has recalibrated. 

“Candidates like James Talarico in the Texas Senate race are trying to reconcile past positions receiving new scrutiny,” CNN gingerly put it.

In other words, they’re lying. And the usual suspects in the accomplice media have generally let them get away with it. The ever farcical Politifact recently came to Talarico’s rescue, covering his trans tracks with one of the more absurdly disingenuous pieces the Theatre of the Absurd political “fact-checker” has ever coughed up. 

The Democrat has a record, and it’s crazy. More so, it’s become quite difficult to hide from in a critical race for the Democratic Party — in a state no Senate Democrat contestant has won since the days of acid-washed jeans, jelly shoes, and New Kids on the Block. 

Let’s take a look. 

‘I Just Want to Say, ‘I Love You’

In 2021, the Texas House education committee held a hearing on a bill requiring public school athletes to play on sports teams corresponding with their biological sex. Talarico called it a dangerous debate over a “manufactured problem.” The only reason the Republican-controlled committee was taking up the bill at all, Talarico claimed, was because some Republicans wanted “to brag to their far-right primary voters that hurt trans kids.”

“The same voters who think the election was stolen, the same voters who are pushing us to waste time on these culture war issues,” the state rep. declared during the May 4, 2021 committee meeting, in unearthed video obtained by The Federalist. 

He warned that support of the bill keeping males out of female sports would “be a stain that we can’t remove,” before sanctimoniously telling his colleagues that he would “pray for forgiveness for this committee.” Such prayers might well seem hallow coming from an Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary student who once boasted that Texas has “some of the best drag queens in the nation.” He was fighting against a bill aimed at banning sexually explicit displays — including nudity and sexual gesticulations — in public or in front of children. A Reagan-appointed federal district judge earlier this year ruled the ban on drag shows was unconstitutional. 

In October 2021, Talarico delivered a bizarre speech on the sports bill before the full Texas House. 

“To the trans kids watching at home, I just want to say, ‘I love you,’” said the House member who at the time very much supported biological males competing against biological females. 

He proceeded to vote no on House Bill 25, joining 57 of his fellow Democrats in the nay camp. 

It is interesting to note that while today’s Talarico talks about  “safety and fairness” in women’s sports,  in 2021’s debate he argued that “some things are more important than perfectly fair competition in sports.”

A campaign official did not return The Federalist’s request for comment. The email included this question: “Has Mr. Talarico changed his position on this issue and other related matters? Or is he simply lying for political advantage?”

‘Good Old-Fashioned Lies’

Team Talarico gets downright defensive when challenged on the leftist’s positions of convenience. They know they can count on a shameless Democrat-friendly corporate media for backup. 

Earlier this month, Talarico campaign spokesman JT Ennis touted the Politifact piece headlined “Texas ad distorts James Talarico’s vote on gender-affirming care for children.” The political hack fact-checker rates as “false” claims by a Republican-aligned Texas PAC that Talarico “supported using taxpayer dollars for sex change surgeries on young children.” Texas PAC in support of Talarico’s Republican opponent, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, has pumped north of $60 million into the race — much of the money hitting Talarico on his far-left record. 

Ennis rejoiced in Politifact’s “Truth-O-Meter” pronouncement, accusing the super PAC of peddling “good old-fashioned lies.” 

Really? Let’s check the record. 

In 2023, the Republican-controlled Texas House passed a bill banning taxpayer-funded child sex changes. The law stops doctors from mutilating the genitalia of minors or administering puberty blockers and hormone treatment through Orwellian-sounding “gender-affirming care.” 

Talarico voted against the measure. He proposed an amendment that he claimed would “keep doctors from violating their Hippocratic oath.” In a House debate he said sex changes “in some cases does more good than harm.” He restated his belief that gender is a spectrum. Back then Talarico insisted that there are six genders. Earlier this month he told Fox News he “missed the mark” on that claim. Now, with the hindsight of poll numbers not supporting his wacky trans ideas, Talarico concedes, “There are not six sexes, there are two.”

Politifact, too, had to provide a correction, begrudgingly. Late last week, the piece was updated “to include additional information” about SB 14, the child sex change ban. Politifact noted that it was not changing its rating. It should. 

As the phony fact-checker notes, Talarico said during the Pflugerville Pride 2023 Legislative Panel the bill would deny “life-saving health care from our trans youth in Texas.” In voting against the bill, he supported — even if tacitly — taxpayer money paying for “gender reassignments” for children. 

‘He’ll Change His Tune’

The Texas PAC ad quotes Talarico in 2019 saying that it is “abusive” for a parent to deny their child’s “gender identity.”  Suddenly, as in this month (now 34 days to the election), Talarico says he would support a national ban on gender-reassignment surgery for minors. Apparently such a ban is no longer “abusive.” In a podcast this summer, the opportunist Democrat claimed he opposes “gender-reassignment surgeries for minors.”

Some leftists aren’t buying what Talarico is now selling to voters. Undercover footage obtained by The Daily Wire shows Babs Miller, the lesbian pastor at Talarico’s church, discussing the Democrat’s apparent move to the political center. Pastor Babs, who also claimed that “we have no way of knowing if Jesus really existed,” said Talarico would return to his leftist senses once elected. 

“He’s getting some advice that I don’t think he should be following,” Miller said in the viral clip. “I can guarantee you that once he gets elected, he’ll change his tune back to where he was.”
