White nationalist and Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes called Tucker Carlson a “true Jew hater” and urged US Vice President JD Vance to condemn him in a video clip shared online on October 20.

The roughly one-minute excerpt showed Fuentes accusing the former Fox News host of antisemitism and claiming he had tried to persuade Carlson to change his views during a visit to Maine.

The recording date and full context of the remarks could not be independently verified. The excerpt alone did not establish whether Fuentes intended the comments sincerely or sarcastically.

The video was posted by the X/Twitter account @ImperiumFirst and subsequently covered by VINnews. It also circulated on LinkedIn.

In the clip, Fuentes accused Carlson of “rabid antisemitism” and described him as suffering from “Israel Derangement Syndrome.”

Far-right political figure Nick Fuentes rallies outside Turning Point USA’s The People’s Convention on June 15, 2024 in Detroit, Michigan.

“He’s completely obsessed. It’s all he can talk about,” Fuentes said.

Fuentes claimed he had reached out to Carlson because he wanted to steer him away from hatred of Jews. He portrayed their shared Christianity as a basis for that effort and said it had failed.

He then called on Vance to condemn Carlson’s “noxious hatred” and said the vice president should be questioned again about the issue.

Fuentes praises Hitler, promotes Holocaust denial

The remarks circulated against a record of antisemitic statements by Fuentes, who has praised Adolf Hitler and promoted Holocaust denial. His October 2025 appearance on Carlson’s podcast sparked a dispute among conservatives over the decision to give him a platform.

During that interview, previously covered by The Jerusalem Post, Fuentes invoked antisemitic claims about Jewish loyalty and influence. He argued that Jewish identity was inseparable from the political positions of the pro-Israel conservatives he opposed.

Carlson said blaming Jews collectively conflicted with his Christian faith. He also expressed agreement with Fuentes’s criticism of the US relationship with Israel and sharply criticized Christian Zionists.

Their relationship subsequently deteriorated in public. Mediaite reported on December 5, 2025, that Fuentes had accused Carlson of dishonesty during a livestream the previous evening and said he wanted Carlson to stay away from him.

Later that month, Fuentes attacked Carlson’s speech at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest conference for rejecting white identity politics. In a December 24 report, Mediaite documented Fuentes’s criticism of Carlson for emphasizing individual rights instead of advocating on behalf of white people as a group.

Vance faces question of Republican antisemitism

Vance has faced repeated questions about how Republicans should respond to antisemitism within their own ranks.

In remarks to the Republican Jewish Coalition reported by the Post on September 3, Vance advocated speaking to a broad range of audiences while setting limits on whom he would engage. He said he would avoid speaking to someone who had attacked his wife or praised Hitler.
