The U.S. military is now conducting operations on public streets
At least one dozen armored vehicles marked with the words “Military Police” were waiting on standby at Stone Mountain, Georgia on Saturday as members of alt-left groups Flower United and Antifa reportedly faced off aginst radical racist militants.
Affirming the news, Ford Fischer Tweeted: “So I’m leaving the #StoneMountainGA and there’s at least a dozen vehicles marked “Military Police” that were on standby as the fighting took place. I was looking at the police who were involved, some were marked “Crime Unit” and “Sheriff’s Office,” but I don’t think military.”
The armored convoy of vehicles remained in position as hundreds of left-leaning protesters moved into position.
The group managed to get ahold of a Confederate flag by snatching it from a ‘white nationalist.’ before igniting it.
“The police line pushed a black-bloc-clad activist with a shotgun right toward some III% guys. III% leader Chris Hill kept his hand on his gun, as both he and shotgun guy tried to convince police the other was a threat,” Ford Fischer reported.
