Joe Biden Brain Freeze: COVID ‘Has Taken More than 100 Year– Look, Here’s– the Lives’

 

Joe Biden suffered another brain freeze during a speech in Pittsburgh on Monday when he appeared to have trouble reading the teleprompter.

“COVID has taken this year— just since the outbreak— has taken more than 100 year— look, here’s— the lives, it’s just, it’s just, I mean think about it— more lives this year than any other year,” Biden said.

According to the prepared remarks, Biden meant to say, “COVID has taken more lives this year than any outbreak in more than 100 years. More than 180,000 lives in just six months. An average of 1,000 people dying every day in the month of August.”

COVID-19 — which refers to 2019 — has claimed the lives of Americans only in 2020.

Biden blamed Trump for the deaths. He claimed Americans are “afraid they’re going to get sick and die.”

“And that is in no small part, it’s because of you,” Biden lambasted Trump.

“We’re now on track to more than 200,000 deaths in this country due to COVID. More than 100,000 seniors have lost their lives because of the virus. More cops have died from COVID this year than have been killed on patrol. Nearly one in six small businesses closed in this country today.”

Man charged with directing threatening messages to Devin Nunes' wife

 The congressman's office reportedly said that the man directed inappropriate and menacing communications at Elizabeth Nunes and her children.

A criminal complaint has been filed against a man for allegedly directing inappropriate and threatening messages at Elizabeth Nunes, the spouse of California Rep. Devin Nunes who serves as House Intelligence Committee ranking member.

William Joseph Burden has been accused of "unlawfully, and with intent to annoy" contacting the congressman's wife—the filing mentions "obscene language" and "threat to inflict injury."

The Daily Wire reported that the congressman's office said that the man directed inappropriate and menacing communications at Elizabeth and her children.

"Nunes’ office, however, told The Daily Wire that Burden sent a series of threatening and lewd communications to Elizabeth aimed at her and her children. At the same time, similar threats were sent to the school where Elizabeth teaches third grade. Nunes’ office said it hopes the FBI can determine whether Burden was responsible for both sets of messages or if he was working with someone else," the Daily Wire reported.

While the criminal complaint was filed, Burden was not arrested because of reasons connected to COVID-19, but he was ordered to appear in court, according to the outlet.

Tom Cotton Backs Bill to Strip Rioters of Federal Unemployment Benefits

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) introduced Rep. Jim Banks’ (R-IN) legislation in the Senate on Monday that would eliminate convicted rioters’ federal unemployment benefits and have the rioters pay for the cost of federal policing of riots.

Cotton announced that he would introduce Banks’ Support for Peaceful Protest Act in the Senate. In a statement on Monday, the Arkansas conservative said that the federal government should not subsidize rioting and looting. 

Cotton said:

Currently, thugs and insurrectionists savaging communities around the country are eligible for unemployment benefits, paid for by the very taxpayers whose property they’ve destroyed. The federal government should not be subsidizing looting and arson. Our bill will not only halt unemployment benefits for rioters but also fine them to help cover additional policing cost.

When Banks introduced his legislation, he said that rioters need to feel the financial consequences of their actions.

The Hoosier conservative said:

Antifa thugs are descending on suffering communities, disrupting peaceful protests and leaving violence, looting, and vandalism in their wake. They turned Milwaukee, Seattle, and Portland into warzones, and now they’re moving the chaos to Kenosha, Wisconsin. Who knows which community is next?

Due to enhanced federal benefits, taxpayers are giving wages to jobless rioters that are destroying our communities. We need to cut them off from their funding and make them feel the full financial consequences of their actions.

Cotton’s cosponsorship of Banks’ legislation arises as unrest, rioting, and looting have continued in major cities across America.

Further, former Vice President Joe Biden blamed President Donald Trump for the escalating violence in America’s cities during a press conference on Monday.

“Incapable of facing the facts and incapable of healing. He doesn’t want to shed light, he wants to generate heat, and he’s ‘stroking’ violence in our cities,” Biden said.

“Fires are burning, and we have a president who fans the flames, rather than fighting the flames. But we must not burn, we have to build,” he added.

 Police said they haven't found victim or suspect after broad-daylight assault

Baltimore police on Monday afternoon told TheBlaze they have not yet located the victim or suspect in a shocking daylight attack caught on video.

What are the details?

Video emerged Monday on social media showing a man crossing a street and another man sneaking up behind him and slamming him in the back of the head, which resulted in the victim falling face-first to the sidewalk.

Just before the victim was hit in the head, a voice — presumably from one of the people recording the video across the street — can be heard whispering, "bitch you bet' not run." After the victim falls to the sidewalk, at least two people can be heard laughing and hollering in response.

Here's the clip:

One person yelled something to the effect of, "Oh my God, he's done!"

The victim appeared to lay motionless on the sidewalk while the man who hit him ran off.

What did police have to say?

According to a police report, the attack took place just after 6:30 p.m. Sunday on the 100 block of West Hamburg Street — and neither the victim nor the suspect were at the scene when police arrived. Officers, however, said they observed a pool of blood on the north sidewalk.

The witness who called police said he heard a loud argument between two men. After one of the men walked away, the witness said the other man picked up two bricks, approached the other man from behind, and hit him on the head. After the attack, the suspect ran from the scene toward the Sharp Leadenhall Apartments. The witness told police he doesn't know the victim or the suspect. Police said the victim is white and the suspect is black.

The video apparently was posted on Instagram and soon deleted. It isn't clear whether the Instagram user who posted the video also recorded it or knows either of the men involved in the incident.

• "The laughter after it happens is chilling," another person observed.

I've haven't seen/heard anything about this man's condition or if anyone helped him," another commenter wrote. "If this is the New America so many are calling for, we're doomed."

Biden Heckled In Pittsburgh: ‘You Finally Got Out Of The Basement!’

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden was heckled as he helped to deliver pizzas during a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania campaign stop Monday.

The action was posted to Twitter by Bloomberg reporter Tyler Pager:

“You finally got out of the basement!” a man could be heard shouting off-screen. “Hey Joe, who paid for those pizzas? Hey Joe, who — Trump would have gave us steak!”

A key swing state critical to both campaigns, Pennsylvania went Republican in 2016 for the first time since 1988. In a speech in Pittsburgh Monday, Biden tried to pin the blame for ongoing riots and lawlessness on President Donald Trump, calling the graphic scenes “images from Donald Trump’s America.”

For 6% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned.

Someone at the CDC let the cat out of the bag (either accidentally or on purpose) on the true amount of COVID-19 deaths. Per their site, only 6% of all the 153,504 deaths recorded actually died from COVID-19, which totals 9,210 deaths. The link takes you to the CDC page.

Che Guevara's birthplace put up for sale

The birthplace of the 20th Century leftist revolutionary icon Ernesto "Che" Guevara has been put up for sale in the Argentine city of Rosario.

Current owner Francisco Farruggia said he had bought the 240 sq m (2,580 sq ft) apartment in a neo-classical style building in the city centre in 2002.

He said he had wanted to turn it into a cultural centre, but the plan never materialised.

The Argentine businessman did not say what asking price he would put on.

 Che Guevara was born in a flat in a neo-classical style building in central Rosario in 1928

Over the years, the building between Urquiza and Entre Ríos streets has attracted a number of illustrious visitors.

These included Uruguay's ex-President José Pepe Mujica, and the children of Fidel Castro, Cuba's revolutionary leader.

But perhaps the most famous visitor was Alberto Granados, who travelled with Che Guevara when he was a young doctor by motorcycle through South America in the 1950s.

Che Guevara wanted to spread revolution across South America

Che Guevara was born in a wealthy middle class family in 1928, but was later radicalised by the poverty and hunger he witnessed in South America.

He played a key role in the Cuban revolution in 1953-59, which overthrew dictator Fulgencio Batista.

Che Guevara then expressed his desire to spread revolution across South America and other developing nations.

From Cuba he travelled to Bolivia to lead forces rebelling against the government of President René Barrientos Ortuño.

With US assistance, the Bolivian army captured Che Guevara and his remaining fighters. He was executed on 9 October 1967 in the village of La Higuera, and his body was buried in a secret location.

In 1997, his remains were discovered, exhumed and returned to Cuba, where he was reburied.

The revolutionary still divides opinion as much today as he did in life.

His supporters see him as an example of commitment and self-sacrifice, his critics see a man they consider brutal and cruel.

Alleged Antifa Shooter Who Assassinated Trump Supporter in Portland Wrote Antifa Manifesto On Instagram

The alleged Antifa gunman who opened fire on Trump supporters in Portland, killing one, wrote radical manifesto pledging allegiance to Antifa and revolution.

The manifesto reads:

Every Revolution needs people that are willing and ready to fight. There are so many of us protesters that are just protesting without a clue of where that will lead. That’s just the beginning that’s where the fight starts. If that’s as far as you can take it thank you for your participation but please stand aside and support the ones that are willing to fight. The alleged gunman has apparently been identified as Michael Reinoehl, a self professed radical member of Antifa.  Although officials have yet to positively identify the suspect, video and photographic evidence continues to surface on social media of the suspect.

 Joe Biden has left the basement - skipping over Kenosha, Wisconsin for a campaign stop in Pittsburgh - where he attempted to flip the script on President Trump over left-wing violence which the former VP has failed to directly condemn.

Biden's early return to the campaign trail comes after taking fire from Trump on Sunday over a milquetoast condemnation of 'violence on both sides' - failing to acknowledge left-wing violence from Antifa and BLM extremists which have turned nearly three months of anti-police protests into race riots in major cities across the country.

The Trump campaign has responded to Biden's pitch with a one-line 'question of the day for Joe Biden':

"Which supporter of yours coddled violent mobs of your leftist voters best: Mayor Jacob Frey of Minneapolis, Mayor Jenny Durkan of Seattle, or Mayor Ted Wheeler of Portland?"

Will Biden condemn his base celebrating the death of a Trump supporter?

Of course, New York Times' 'disinformation reporter' (lol) Davey Alba says it's fake news because it wasn't all of the protesters. She also calls Zero Hedge 'far-right,' and falsely claims we reported "that leftist protesters were claiming the person who died was "one of theirs" & the "shooter is a fascist"" (we did not, read our reporting on the shooting here). Then, she turned off replies, preventing anyone from providing counterpoints.

Talk about disinformation...

Alba then trots out three anonymous tweets from Antifa members condemning the killing, and writes "But reminder that Antifa and the protesters aren't 1 totally united grp."
