Maxine Waters Says Trump Is 'Setting Some of Us up to Be Killed'

Congresswoman Maxine Waters

Maxine Waters is one of those hysterical Democrats who believe Trump is capable of anything -- including murder.

Waters told MSNBC that she's been in fear for her life since Trump took office.
“He is setting some of us up to be killed. I have death threats constantly. There are a number of people who have been convicted for threatening to kill me,” Ms. Waters said. “I can’t go to the grocery store anymore by myself. I have to pay for security all the time. I can’t move around the country without security.”
Ms. Waters’ complaints were mocked by conservatives on social media who pointed out that the congresswoman just last year encouraged her supporters to harass Trump administration officials in public.
Her comments came one day after she said impeachment was “not good enough” for Mr. Trump and that he needed to be imprisoned and “placed in solitary confinement” over his controversial July 25 phone call with the president of Ukraine.
I guess now she knows how right wing leaders have felt for years.
Politics has gone insane. I sympathize with public figures who find themselves the target of death threats and hate on social media or anywhere.
But when you urge your supporters to harass and threaten members of the opposition, you, yourself have crossed a line. In June 2018, Waters encouraged people to confront Trump administration officials wherever they appeared in public.
"If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they're not welcome anymore, anywhere," Waters, who has called for President Donald Trump to be impeached, told supporters over the weekend.
Trump responded, calling Waters "an extraordinarily low IQ person" and saying that she was calling for harm to his supporters.
Trump is right in this case. You're not very bright if you get people angry and hateful to the point of violence, and then direct them to a target.
Does Waters really believe that the president of the United States is after her to kill her? If she does, she needs to change her address to the nearest insane asylum. But I think she knows exactly what she's doing. Intimidation has become commonplace in politics and pretending to be targeted for death is an excellent way to get your supporters to return the favor.
