Scott Pelley Leads 60 Minutes Impeachment Coverage With Lie: “Whistleblower Under Federal Protection”…

CBS Reporter Scott Pelley led the broadcast of 60-Minutes presentation of the House impeachment of Donald Trump with a stunning claim:

“Tonight, “60 Minutes” has obtained a letter that indicates the government whistleblower who set off the impeachment inquiry of President Trump is under federal protection, because he or she fears for their safety.”

The claim is quite something.  A CIA operative that needs to be put under federal protection?  Wow. Immediately CNN and the media pounced on the opportunity to promote the “whistleblower” as a victim.

Except, they encountered one problem…. it’s not true.   Scott Pelley made it up.

Even one of the lawyers for the CIA whistleblower, Mark S. Zaid, had to try and clean up CBS’s false narrative:  “60 Minutes completely misinterpreted the contents of our letter.”

Heck, if this is the propaganda within the pre-impeachment coverage, can you even imagine how much false media propaganda is yet to come….

The Liberal Party of Canada will help cities ban federally licensed handgun owners unless they keep their guns in government-approved central storage at target ranges, Bill Blair told CTV News yesterday.

Blair, the Liberal minister for firearm confiscation, was speaking on CTV’s Question Period hosted by Evan Solomon.

He was elaborating on plans outlined last week by Justin Trudeau, the Liberal leader and prime minister, if the Liberals win next month’s election.

Trudeau promised mass prohibitions, confiscations or expulsions targeting hundreds of thousands of hunters, farmers and sport shooters.

He didn’t announce any plans to restrict or expel violent individuals or gangs.

On home handgun storage:

“We’re bringing forward very significant new measures for the secure storage of handguns, ‘Restricted’ weapons.

“Right now they don’t have to be secured in anything but a locked container.

“Under these new regulations, it’ll be required that they be stored in a safe or a vault.” 

On helping cities ban home handgun ownership:

“What we’re saying is: we’re working with cities, and cities may have additional risks and vulnerabilities and concerns that can be addressed by also defining where those firearms can be stored, and perhaps stored centrally at a range, which is the only place they can be legally used.”

ANOTHER HATE HOAX: BLACK GIRL WHO CLAIMED WHITE CLASSMATES CALLED HER NAMES, CUT HER DREADS — ADMITS SHE MADE IT ALL UP!

A student at a private middle school in Virginia claimed she was targeted for harassment last week by white students who yelled racial slurs and cut her hair.

On Monday, she admitted all those allegations were false.

Police confirmed an investigation was underway last Friday after Amari Allen, 12, told local media that three white boys at the Immanuel Christian School, where Vice President Mike Pence’s wife teaches, pinned her down and assaulted her, calling her “nappy,” and “ugly,” while they covered her mouth and used scissors to snip her dreadlocks.

Local NBC affiliate WRC-TV reported the “heartbreaking story” last Thursday:

"Three sixth-grade boys at a Christian school in Northern Virginia pinned down a black classmate and cut off some of her dreadlocks while telling her her hair was “nappy” and “ugly,” she told News4.

Twelve-year-old Amari Allen said the three boys, who she said are white, cut off her hair on Monday. She’s a student at Immanuel Christian School in Springfield, Virginia, where Vice President Mike Pence’s wife, Karen Pence, teaches part-time.

“They said my hair was nappy and I was ugly,” she said."

On Monday, however, Allen’s legal guardians met with school officials before releasing a statement apologizing to the students blamed and saying the whole event was fabricated.

“To those young boys and their parents, we sincerely apologize for the pain and anxiety these allegations have caused,” reads a statement by Allen’s grandparents sent to The Washington Post.

“To the administrators and families of Immanuel Christian School, we are sorry for the damage this incident has done to trust within the school family and the undue scorn it has brought to the school. To the broader community, who rallied in such passionate support for our daughter, we apologize for betraying your trust.”

“We understand there will be consequences and we’re prepared to take responsibility for them,” they added. “We know that it will take time to heal, and we hope and pray that the boys, their families, the school and the broader community will be able to forgive us in time.”

Police would not comment on the investigation to The Post due to juveniles being involved.

Immanuel Christian School Principal Stephen Danish also released a statement confirming the hoax and sympathizing with the “victims and the hurt on both sides of this conflict.”

“We can now confirm that the student who accused three of her classmates of assault has acknowledged that the allegations were false. We’re grateful to the Fairfax County Police Department for their diligent work to investigate these allegations,” Danish wrote.

“While we are relieved to hear the truth and bring the events of the past few days to a close, we also feel tremendous pain for the victims and the hurt on both sides of this conflict. We recognize that we now enter what will be a long season of healing.”

The event was bought hook, line and sinker by the lapdog media which has increasingly green-lighted hate hoaxes in the Trump era, and is reminiscent of the hoax perpetrated by actor Jussie Smollett in Chicago earlier this year, in which he claimed he was assaulted by two white Trump supporters who put a noose around his neck and yelled “MAGA country” while he tried to grab a Subway sandwich in below-freezing Chicago temperatures.

Schweizer: Joe Biden ‘Was Steering Billions of Dollars of Western Money to Ukraine’ for Access, Influence

Breitbart News senior contributor and Secret Empire sauthor Peter Schweizer joined Life, Liberty & Levin Sunday on Fox News Channel to explain Joe and Hunter Biden’s Ukraine connections.

Schweizer told host Mark Levin that the former vice president’s son was being paid by Ukraine despite not having expertise in the energy sector while Joe Biden was the “point-person” on former President Barack Obama’s administration in dealing with Ukraine.

The key question here that nobody seems to want to ask in the media is: What was he being paid for? He wasn’t being paid for his expertise. What was he being paid for? TRUMP WARNS AMERICA: WE’RE IN DANGER OF ENTERING CIVIL WAR

President Donald Trump shared a warning from Pastor Robert Jeffress about a “Civil War-like fracture” if Democrats should impeach him.

Jeffries told Fox News on Sunday, “Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats can’t put down the impeachment match. They know they couldn’t beat him in 2016 against Hillary Clinton, they’re increasingly aware of the fact that they won’t win against him in 2020, and impeachment is the only tool they have to get rid of Donald Trump—And the Democrats don’t care if they burn down and destroy this nation in the process.”

He added: “I have never seen them [Evangelical Christians] more angry over any issue than this attempt to illegitimately remove this president from office, overturn the 2016 election, and negate the votes of millions of Evangelicals in the process. They know that the only impeachable offense President Trump has committed was beating Hillary Clinton in 2016.”

The pastor added that it is “the unpardonable sin for which the Democrats will never forgive him. And I do want to make this prediction this morning: if the Democrats are successful in removing the president from office, I’m afraid it will cause a Civil War-like fracture in this nation from which this country will never heal.”

Trump on Sunday night retweeted what Jeffries said and added his own comments in parentheses.

The warning sparked hashtags on Twitter, including #CivilWar2 and #CivilWarSignup. However, on Twitter, some people accused Trump of predicting a new Civil War.

t comes about a week after House Democrats said they would push an inquiry into impeachment, with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), saying Sept. 24 that Trump “seriously violated the Constitution.”

The move prompted the release of a whistleblower complaint along with a transcript of Trump’s call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The House would need a simple majority to impeach the president before it is turned over to the Senate, which would need more than a two-thirds majority, or 67 percent, to remove a president. No presidents have ever been successfully removed from office. The last president to be impeached was Bill Clinton, and before him, former President Andrew Johnson, who was impeached several years after the Civil War ended.

Last week Rep. Adam Schiff opened the House Intel impeachment investigation by rattling off a complete lie in his his opening statement on President Trump’s conversation with the Ukrainian President Zelensky.

When he was later called on this complete fabrication Adam Schiff said it was a parody.
Schiff thinks impeachment proceedings are a joke or a comedy show.

Last night President Trump called for Adam Schiff to be investigated.

Actor Randy Quaid also released a statement on Sunday.
Quaid called for Schiff to resign immediately.

Whistleblower attorney says '60 Minutes' 'misinterpreted' key letter

A lawyer representing the unidentified whistleblower in Congress' impeachment investigation blasted "60 Minutes" on Sunday, saying the program "misinterpreted" a letter from his legal team in reporting that it indicated his client is under federal protection.

Mark Zaid, the attorney, tweeted that the famed news program "completely misinterpreted contents of our letter," which he linked to from his Twitter post.

The CBS program tweeted a brief defense of its report, saying: "60 Minutes stands by its sources and reporting on the whistleblower."

This prompted a more scathing response from Zaid.

The whistleblower allegations represent a major threat to the Trump presidency. The allegation is that the president pressured Ukraine to investigate the Bidens, with some Democrats also arguing that he held up military aid as part of that effort. The whistleblower also claims that the administration went to great lengths to "bury" the controversial phone call on July 25 between Trump and Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Trump denies any wrongdoing and said he was just making sure that the country, known to be besieged by corruption, was getting off on the right foot with its new president.

"60 Minutes" reported Sunday that it received a letter that indicated that the government whistleblower has been put under federal protection due to safety concerns.

The report showed a PDF file of the Sept. 28 letter from the Compass Rose Legal Group, to the officer of acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire.


The letter said, in part, "The purpose of this letter is to formally notify you of serious concerns we have regarding our client’s personal safety. We appreciate your office’s support thus far to activate appropriate resources to ensure their safety."

The letter did not specify the "support" or "resources" that were offered.

The letter stressed the urgency in protecting the whistleblower's identity and claimed that there's a $50,000 bounty for information about the client. The letter was signed by Andrew P. Bakaj, the lead attorney in the case.

"60 Minutes" did not immediately respond to an early morning email from Fox News.

One social media user highlighted the sentence in his legal group’s letter that expressed gratitude to Maguire’s office for activating the “appropriate resources to ensure” the whistleblower’s safety and asked what was misinterpreted.

An email to Zaid was not immediately returned.


Zaid said talks are still ongoing and we “continue to work w/both parties in House & Senate & we understand all agree protecting whistleblower’s identity is paramount.” He said no time or date has been set.

Meanwhile, Fox News is told that the inspector general for the intelligence community who originally received the whistleblower complaint, Michael Atkinson, is scheduled to testify in closed session Friday before the House Intelligence Committee.
