‘Irredeemably Compromised’: Trump Admin Tells Congress Hamas-Linked UNRWA Must Be Dismantled

The assessment indicates that the US has fully lost faith in the organization after months of revelations that at least a dozen UNRWA employees participated in Hamas's Oct. 7, 2023, attacks against Israel

The Trump administration has formally determined that the U.N. Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), the Hamas-linked humanitarian group, cannot be salvaged and must be disbanded, according to a non-public notification transmitted to Congress and obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

The State Department "has not funded UNRWA since January 2024, does not have any ongoing programming with UNRWA, and is maintaining a policy of minimal contact with" the organization, according to the July 29 notice transmitted to Congress. "The Administration has determined UNRWA is irredeemably compromised and now seeks its full dismantlement."

The Trump administration’s assessment indicates the United States has fully lost faith in UNRWA after months of revelations that at least a dozen agency employees participated in Hamas’s Oct. 7, 2023, massacres and worked alongside the terror group in Gaza. The move formally codifies the administration's position that UNRWA must be dismantled and starts the process of working toward that goal.

Hamas has continued to steal UNRWA aid supplies and resell them on the black market, the Free Beacon reported on Thursday, with armed Hamas members hijacking trucks carrying goods meant to make their way to Gaza’s civilian population. At least 12 percent of all U.N. employees in Gaza are members of Hamas or other terrorist organizations, and many of the workers identified for the Free Beacon as Hamas members drive the aid trucks themselves.

While UNRWA has promised to implement widespread reforms, its continued failure to stop Hamas from exploiting U.N.-controlled aid channels—alongside its relationship with the terror group—demonstrates that there cannot be a future for the agency in Gaza, according to a senior State Department official.

"UNRWA exists to provide cover for Hamas," the official said. "They are completely corrupt and should be disbanded."

Hamas demanded in the most recent round of ceasefire talks with the United States that UNRWA retake control of humanitarian aid networks in Gaza, replacing the U.S.-led Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, the Free Beacon first reported earlier this month. That demand provided further evidence to the Trump administration that UNRWA is compromised and serving Hamas’s interests.

The Trump administration initially announced the United States’ withdrawal from UNRWA in February, citing the agency’s known link to Hamas and its failure to deliver aid to civilians in Gaza. The U.S. government also received "evidence that several UNRWA staff were involved in the October 7, 2023, Hamas terrorist attacks against Israel," according to the State Department.

The next month, the Trump administration officially requested that UNRWA "return all remaining unspent balances of U.S. funding in its accounts," but the U.N. body has not done so, the congressional notice states.

"An April 8, 2025, letter, signed by the UNRWA Washington Field Office Director, indicated UNRWA would do so but has not yet completed this action," the State Department said. Secretary of State Marco Rubio additionally ordered all agency personnel in May "to cease U.S. participation in all working-level UNRWA bodies" at the United Nations.

Gazans who spoke with the Free Beacon in recent days said they have witnessed armed Hamas militants hijacking UNRWA aid trucks.

"Fifty trucks arrived yesterday at warehouses in Gaza City, and Hamas stole all of the aid," said Moumen Al-Natour, a 30-year-old lawyer in Gaza. "Hamas has unfortunately been able to infiltrate the mechanism of the United Nations for a long time."

“Today’s Jobs Numbers were RIGGED” – President Trump

President Trump followed up his demand that the Biden nominee, who is responsible for the job reports, be fired, by saying that he believes the jobs numbers for last month were ‘rigged’ to make both him and Republicans look bad.

Jerome “Too Late” Powell is no better! But, the good news is, our Country is doing GREAT!

We’ll see if there’s a revision upward next month on the jobs report for July, as well as May and June. It is odd that May and June were off by so freaking much.

Biden nominee RESIGNS from Federal Reserve board

A nominee from Joe Biden, Adrianna Kugler, has just resigned from the Federal Reserve board, which gives President Trump the opportunity to put his own nominee on the board in her stead.

Federal Reserve Governor Adriana Kugler announced Friday she is stepping down from her role at the central bank, creating an important vacancy at a time when President Donald Trump is pushing for lower interest rates.

In a letter addressed to Trump, Kugler, 55, did not state a reason for her decision to leave, only noting that she will be returning to Georgetown University as a professor in the fall.

“It has been an honor of a lifetime to serve on the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System,” Kugler wrote. “I am especially honored to have served during a critical time in achieving our dual mandate of bringing down prices and keeping a strong and resilient labor market.”

Kugler’s term was set to expire at the end of January 2026. A Biden nominee, she joined the Board of Governors in September 2023, filling the unexpired term of Lael Brainard, who left to serve as an Biden economic advisor. As a governor, Kugler was a permanent voter on the rate-setting Federal Open Market Committee.

Her resignation now paves the way for Trump to put his own nominee in for the board. Two of his prior appointments, Christopher Waller and Michelle Bowman, voted against the decision at Wednesday’s meeting to hold the Fed’s key rate steady, instead indicating they wanted to lower. Kugler was absent for the vote.

While this is a big deal, given that she was absent from this week’s vote, it would suggest that a new nominee won’t force Powell to reduce rates, assuming it even works that way.

Funder Of NPR And PBS To “Wind-Down” Operations

 The Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), the funder of NPR and PBS, announced it will “begin an orderly wind-down of its operations.”

The announcement follows the passage of legislation that eliminated funding for the private nonprofit.

CPB is a private, nonprofit corporation authorized by Congress in 1967 as the steward of the federal government’s investment in public broadcasting.

“It helps support the operations of more than 1,500 locally managed and operated public television and radio stations nationwide. CPB is also the largest single source of funding for research, technology, and program development for public radio, television, and related online services,” CPB stated.

“Despite the extraordinary efforts of millions of Americans who called, wrote, and petitioned Congress to preserve federal funding for CPB, we now face the difficult reality of closing our operations,” said CPB President and CEO Patricia Harrison.

“CPB remains committed to fulfilling its fiduciary responsibilities and supporting our partners through this transition with transparency and care,” Harrison added.

CPB informed its employees today that the majority of staff positions will conclude with the close of the fiscal year on September 30, 2025. A small transition team will remain through January 2026 to ensure a responsible and orderly closeout of operations. This team will focus on compliance, final distributions, and resolution of long-term financial obligations, including ensuring continuity for music rights and royalties that remain essential to the public media system.

NPR added:

Although NPR, which produces news programs such as Morning Edition and All Things Considered, relies on direct federal funds for only a small portion of its budget, its approximately 1,000 member stations receive a heftier portion of their operating revenue through CPB. With its nightly PBS News Hour and children’s programming, such as Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, PBS gets around 15% of its revenue from federal money, as do its member stations on average.

While Trump and Congressional allies have accused NPR in particular of liberal bias, most Americans support public broadcasting. A Harris Poll last month found that 66% of Americans support federal funding for public radio, with the same share calling it a good value. Support included 58% of Republicans and 77% of Democrats. The online poll surveyed 2,089 U.S. adults with a 2.5 percentage point margin of error.

DEVELOPING: Multiple People Shot at a Business in Anaconda, Montana – Multiple Fatalities, Suspect Identified and Remains at Large

 Multiple people have been shot at The Owl Bar in Anaconda, Montana, ATF Denver reported on Friday.

Details about the shooting are limited.

Update from NBC Montana: SUSPECT IDENTIFIED AFTER MULTIPLE FATALITES IN ANACONDA: A shooting at The Owl Bar in Anaconda has resulted in multiple fatalities, according to law enforcement officials. The suspect, identified as 45-year-old Michael Brown of Anaconda and remains at large.

Michael Brown is considered armed and dangerous.

“Brown is still at large and was last seen driving a 2007 white Ford F-150 pickup with Montana license plates DTY493,” KBZK reported.

CBS News reported:

Multiple people were shot in Anaconda, Montana, on Friday, the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said. The bureau’s field division in Denver said on social media that the shooting happened at a business.

The sheriff’s office for neighboring Granite County said a suspect was at large. The sheriff’s office said on social media that the suspect was wearing a tie-dye shirt, blue jeans and an orange bandana.

The sheriff’s office said the suspect’s house in Anaconda had been cleared by a SWAT team.

“Avoid the Anaconda area,” the sheriff’s office said. “Stay vigilant report any suspicious activity.”

“Sandra Barker, a spokesperson for the FBI’s Salt Lake City office, which covers Montana, said the FBI is assisting in the response to the shooting but referred questions about it to local authorities,” the AP reported.

Illegal immigrant facing attempted murder charges for stabbing victim multiple times at soccer game

    DHS confirms ICE detainer filed  against         suspect who fled scene after attacking victim at Alabama soccer game

An illegal immigrant from Honduras with a criminal history was recently arrested and charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing a person three times during a public soccer game in Alabama.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed to Fox News Digital on Friday that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) lodged an immigration detainer against 20-year-old Javier Lopez Tinoco, who is charged with attempted murder following a brutal stabbing attack in Baldwin County, Alabama.

The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tinoco on July 19 after he allegedly stabbed a victim three times during a public soccer game in Summerdale, according to DHS.

After the attack, he allegedly fled the scene. The victim's current condition is unknown.

Police were able to track Tinoco down on July 29, and when he was arrested, authorities said he had four small bags of cocaine with him.

Following the arrest, ICE immediately filed an arrest detainer to prevent Tinoco’s release and ensure he remains in custody pending criminal and removal proceedings.

The stabbing incident was not Tinoco's first run in with the law.

He was arrested by police in 2024 for public intoxication, DHS confirmed.

"A man was nearly KILLED because this Honduran illegal alien decided to go on a stabbing spree. These are the type of criminal illegal aliens ICE is working to get off our streets and out of our country," said DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin.

Panicked Biden Aide Neera Tanden Now Claims “Every Time” She Used Autopen Joe Biden “Signed Off Himself”

 Neera Tanden is now claiming she only used Biden’s autopen when Biden “signed off himself.”

In June, ex-Biden official Neera Tanden admitted under oath to the House Oversight Committee during a closed-door testimony on Tuesday that she controlled Joe Biden’s autopen.

House Oversight Chairman James Comer recently identified five Biden aides who were involved in the cover-up of Joe Biden’s mental decline and autopen scandal.

Director of Domestic Policy Council Neera Tanden was brought before the Committee earlier this summer and admitted she was authorized to use Joe Biden’s autopen between October 2021 to May 2023.

According to the Washington Examiner, Neera Tanden testified that she was also authorized to direct the autopen, however, she denied manipulation or abuse.

According to an Oversight Project press release, Tanden would utilize

the autopen without actually verifying from Biden himself that it was an authorized action. From the release:
“…she would send decision memos to Biden’s inner circle with no visibility of approval between sending the memo and receiving it back. Tanden’s testimony confirms that she affixed Biden’s signature onto presidential documents without direct knowledge that Biden authorized the given action.

“Given Biden’s clearly deteriorating condition and lack of capacity, it was incumbent on Tanden to actually confirm that Biden himself was capable of and actually making decisions. Instead, it appears that a close cabal of advisors were put between the autopen and the President.”

RealClearPolitics reporter Philip Wegmann interviewed Neera Tanden and she claimed that she always got a sign off from Biden before using the autopen.

PHILIP WEGMANN, REALCLEARPOLITICS: You did serve for four years in the Biden White House, first as staff secretary and then domestic policy adviser. And there’s been some debate over your recent testimony before the House Oversight Committee. The Republican majority—they say that you directed autopen signatures without knowing who gave the final approval. The Democratic minority—they call that a lie. So did you receive written sign-off from President Biden each time you used the autopen?

NEERA TANDEN: Yes. Every time I used the autopen to execute executive actions—there’s an autopen used for letters to, you know, just from the public. But whenever, every single time I used the autopen to authorize—and I didn’t use it, a career official did—but when I authorized the use of the autopen, I had the president’s signature and sometimes detailed notes on each and every time.

And so, you know, after—when I was testifying, Chairman Comer said that I was very forthcoming. So I found it very disappointing that the committee afterwards, I believe, really misled the public by saying that it wasn’t clear we got authorization. I followed the same protocol every staff secretary, I believe both Republican and Democrat, had used before me, and that was to get a president’s signature on—and I got it—twice. I had a very formal process for using it.

So, I think there’s been a lot of—I’m really glad to clarify this here because there’s been a lot of misinformation about the use of the autopen. Every time I authorized its use, President Biden had signed off himself.

Neera Tanden briefly spoke to reporters following her closed-door testimony.

When asked if there was a cover up of Joe Biden health decline, Neera Tanden said, “absolutely not.”
