President Trump on Wednesday called out far-left Texas Democratic Senate nominee James Talarico’s disappearance from the campaign trail in Texas, describing him as “missing in action” and calling for a debate between him and Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Talarico has not been seen in Texas in nearly two weeks, and he’s been canceling events at home to instead raise money in New York.
Republican Ken Paxton released an ad exposing Talarico for slinking off to New York to attend Robert DeNiro's fundraiser and raise money from the gay Human Rights Campaign.
Talarico's campaign asserts he's fallen ill, but while he was supposedly sick, he was actually attending New York City fundraisers, including one on September 30 at a gay bar.
Trump responded late on Wednesday night, writing, "Ladies and Gentlemen, upon information and belief, James TalaFREAKo, who is running for the United States Senate in Texas, is MISSING IN ACTION!"
"No one has seen him for an extended period of time. Where is he? What is wrong with him?" Trump continued.
"Bad rumors are coming out. He should immediately report to a Debate Stage against Ken Paxton, who is ready, willing, and able, one of the best Attorney Generals in the Country, and will soon be, hopefully, a United States Senator representing the Great People of Texas!"

Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP
Talarico emerged from hiding to respond on X last night, writing, "President Trump just said Ken Paxton should debate. I agree. Ball’s in your court."
Talarico has accused Paxton of debate dodging. Paxton senior adviser Nick Maddux has told the Texas Tribune, “Of course, we are going to debate James Talarico, and we look forward to engaging with potential debate hosts.”
“Talarico is a serial liar who has spent his entire campaign shamelessly deceiving Texas voters about his radical record with[out] answering the hard questions.”
"There will be a debate in this race, and it will be must-watch television because Texans are finally going to hear James Talarico answer for” his liberal agenda, Maddux added.
