Accused flydubai hijacker celebrated beating women, Sharia law in sickening social media posts: ‘Stomp on her head’

The accused flydubai hijacker touted violence against women and expressed hate for Jews and gay people in sickening newly revealed social media posts he made while studying to be a pilot – before he went on to allegedly attack his captain with a crash axe and attempt to down a plane.

Hamam al-Hammami, 29, allegedly made the series of extreme posts while he was studying aviation management remotely at Buckinghamshire New University (BNU) in the UK, the Telegraph reported.

In one exchange with a woman, he allegedly said, “I’d stomp on your head, wipe the floor with you, make you an example to others, and then divorce you,” the outlet reported, following an analysis of more than 2,000 posts published between November 2021 and August 2022 by an X account believed to be al-Hammami’s.

Former Oman Air Senior First Officer Hamam al-Hammami is shown in this undated photo.
The co-pilot of a FlyDubai plane is seen injured and bound in a video circulated Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2026. The unidentified co-pilot stabbed and injured the pilot, Captain Smit Machchhar, in an attempt to crash the flight, which was en route to Tel Aviv, Israel, from Dubai.

In another reply to a discussion about men attacking women, al-Hammami reportedly said, “He gave her a preemptive slap so she would redefine her boundaries, just as Russia slapped Ukraine to adjust its borders.”

During the same exchange, al-Hammami reportedly posted that if a woman “so much as breathed” around a man, he should “stomp on her head,” according to reports.

In a separate exchange, the account believed to be al-Hammami’s responded to a post by a man asking whether he could complain to his wife after he found her talking “badly” about him to her boss.

“Yes, but first you have to stomp on her head, make her life miserable and make her taste the bitterness of what she did,” he wrote in response.

Here’s the latest on the Israel-bound plane suspected terror attack:

Elsewhere, al-Hammami branded another man a “coward and a scoundrel” for failing to violently assault his wife after catching her speaking to another man.

His misogynistic posts included describing women as “cheap meat devoured by anyone and everyone.”

Other posts called for severe Islamic punishments against Jews and homosexuals, according to the report.

“His social media accounts [say] clearly that he has been radicalized into jihadist ideology. He talks about killing Jews,” an Israeli official told the Times of Israel on Thursday.

Al-Hammami, an Omani national, allegedly stabbed the flight’s captain, Smit Machchhar, in the cockpit with crash ax and tried to take control of the plane in a “terrorist attack” Wednesday.

A crash axe similar to the one used in an attempted terror attack aboard a FlyDubai flight on Spet. 30 flight is shown.

His actions nearly crashed the flight with 182 people on board before passengers rushed in and subdued him.

All of the posts linked to al-Hammami were made while he was studying remotely at BNU while still living in Oman.

On the day of the attack, BNU said its license to sponsor international students had been suspended by the British government for reasons unrelated to al-Hammami.

No concerns were raised by BNU about al-Hammami during his time as a remote student on the three-year course, but the college is now conducting a review of his course, the Telegraph reported.

Al-Hammami was removed from his previous job at Oman’s national airline last year following concerns about his extremist Islamist views, it emerged Saturday.

Two posts showing a video of Israeli airline jets, followed by a photo montage of a suicide bomber and al-Qaeda leaders, appeared on a LinkedIn profile matching al-Hammami nine hours after the attempted hijacking.

It is not clear if those posts were pre-scheduled or if someone else shared them on the account.
