Senate Judiciary’s top Democrat tried to scold FBI Director Kash Patel for only releasing Jeffrey Epstein records after Congress passed a law — and then immediately ran into the part of the story Democrats would rather skip.

Patel pointed out that Durbin’s party had both chambers under Joe Biden and somehow never found the urgency to force those files into the sunlight.
Gosh, wonder why?
Durbin’s reply was the political equivalent of checking his watch. After years of treating Epstein transparency like a seasonal talking point, the sudden demand that Trump’s FBI move faster sounded less like oversight and more like a man realizing the cameras were on the wrong administration.
