Senate Majority Leader John Thune thought he would score some points by bragging on social media about how well the Republicans have “delivered” during President Trump’s second term, so far.
But, instead, he was given a brutal reality check by the American people!
On Tuesday afternoon, Thune posted this on X:
Unfortunately for Thune, America wasn’t buying his BS!
First of all, did you notice the community note on the post?
It reads:
The 119th congress was the least productive in history – No congress has enacted less legislation or laws. Johnson has cancelled a total 63 scheduled voting days in the house, granting members an extra 2 months PTO, with no house votes scheduled until after the election.
I did some digging, and that’s factually accurate.
The 119th Congress has been unbelievably unproductive.
Per statistics on GovTrack, this year’s Congress only enacted a measly 2% of legislation.

Patriots didn’t waste any time calling Thune out for blatantly lying about how Republicans have “delivered” on Trump’s agenda — when that couldn’t be further from the truth.
