DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin confirmed that they know Ilhan Omar married her brother to bring him into the US, saying this entire case is under investigation and that it may be part of something bigger.
He also suggested they are investigating a lot more cases like this.

If she’s guilty, she should absolutely be deported. And it pretty much sounds like she is… I just hope, assuming they end up arresting her for deportation, that they have all their ducks in a row because there will be a fight over this in the court of public opinion, to be sure.
