Governor Greg Abbott just announced that he’s begun the removal process for the runaway Texas Democrats. He has appealed to the Supreme Court of Texas to make this happen.
He writes: “Today I took emergency action to begin the removal from office of derelict Democrat Texas House members who refuse to show up for the special session.”
This is fantastic, and I’m glad he’s following through on his promise. I think many were starting to have their doubts whether he’d really do this, and who knows what the court will do in the end, but I truly hope he’s successful.
