JUST IN: Obama Judge in San Francisco Blocks President Trump From Revoking ‘Temporary’ Protected Status For Hundreds of Thousands of Venezuelan Migrants

Another black-robed tyrant has invoked his unearned ‘authority’ to sabotage President Trump’s America-first agenda.

As Reuters reported, a U.S. judge in San Francisco on Monday barred the Trump administration from revoking deportation protections for hundreds of thousands of Venezuelan immigrants here in America under temporary protected status. His ruling applies nationwide.

TPS status for these migrants was scheduled to end on April 7. They were also set to lose their work permits on April 2.

Senior District Judge Edward Chen, a Barack Obama appointee, slammed DHS Secretary Kristi Noem in his ruling for supposedly stereotyping Venezuelan TPS beneficiaries while slobbering over their supposed contributions to America.

“Although the Secretary’s actions appear predicated on negative stereotypes casting aspersions on their character, the undisputed fact establishes that Venezuelan TPS beneficiaries have a higher education attainment than most U.S. citizens, high labor participation rates…And annually contribute billions of dollars to the U.S. economy,” he wrote in his outrageous ruling. “They also have lower rates of criminality than the general U.S. Population.”

Chen also whined that Noem’s action would endanger the migrants’ livelihoods. Where is this listed in the Constitution?

“The secretary’s action threatens to inflict irreparable harm on hundreds of thousands of persons whose lives, families, and livelihoods will be severely disrupted, cost the United States billions in economic activity, and injure public health and safety in communities throughout the United States,” Chen added. “At the same time, the government has failed to identify any real countervailing harm in continuing TPS for Venezuelan beneficiaries.”

At this point, it’s unclear whether members of Tren de Agua will be in the clear thanks to Chen’s ruling.

The Gateway Pundit reported in January that Trump revoked deportation protections for at least 600,000 Venezuelan migrants. The order rescinded a previous order from Joe Biden’s Secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas, that extended the protections for a further 18 months.

“Before he left town, Mayorkas signed an order that said for 18 months, they were going to extend protection to people on Temporary Protected Status, which meant they were going to be able to stay here and violate our laws for another 18 months,” Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said in an interview. “We stopped that.”

A Venezuelan woman living in New York then filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration for ending deportation protection in February.

Democratic Sen. Coons: 'Your Average Middle American' Is Too Stupid to Find Greenland on a Map

While speaking to CNN's Dana Bash on Monday morning, Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE), provided Republicans with the perfect opportunity when it comes to the issue of getting involved with Greenland.

Coons was trying to highlight his party's issue with the Trump administration looking to get involved with Greenland for the sake of national security. As Townhall covered all last week, Vice President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance traveled to Greenland, where they met with American Guardians at a U.S. Space Force base on the island. The Democratic senator claims he wants to see the administration focus on other issues, arguing that perhaps Americans are hoping for that as well. He couldn't just say that, though. He had to insult these Americans in the process as well.

In remarks that the Rapid Response 47 X account aptly noted amounted to Democrats "SHOWING THEIR TRUE COLORS," Coons offered that "your average Middle American" couldn't even find Greenland on a map, implying that they were too stupid.

"Look, your average Trump voters laughs at us and says 'he's owning the libs,' and your average Middle American says 'why are you wasting your time on Greenland? I can't even find it on a map!'"

A fuller clip shared by Bash doesn't exactly help, as Coons laughed over President Donald Trump's remarks about his interest in the territory, even calling them "insane." Without missing a beat, after he insulted "your average Middle American," Coons went on to fearmonger about threatening the NATO alliance, as he also mentioned concerns from the Danes and Canadians.

The senator also went on to stress that "we have to focus on the two issues that I said were the main issues to the Democratic Party and working Americans." If that's really the case, why would Coons make such an insulting point about part of the country, and one that Republicans aptly capitalize on.

That's not a good look for the senator, least of all because Greenland isn't that difficult to find on a map. It's a massive island located in North America, just northeast of the United States and Canada. Further, why did Coons, whose state isn't actually located in "Middle America," feel the need to focus on a certain part of the country?

The remarks insulting "your average Middle American" has been trending over X for Monday. Coons has not posted about those remarks from his own X accounts, though he did share another part of that same interview from his political account, to do with claims against President Donald Trump and Elon Musk.

One of those Republicans chiming in to express outrage about Coons remarks included someone who is much closer to Middle America, Rep. Lisa McClain (R-MI), who also serves as the House Republican Conference chairwoman.

"Unbelievable! Democrats cannot contain their hatred for President Trump and the millions of Americans who proudly supported Republicans in November," she posted, sharing a clip.

McClain also addressed other insulting remarks against everyday Americans from other Democrats, including Hillary Clinton when running for president in 2016, remarks she's since doubled down on, and then President Joe Biden.

"First they called us 'deplorables,' then they called us 'garbage,' and now we’re just stupid," she added in her post.

A White House aide provided Townhall with a statement on Coons' remarks, one which also referenced Clinton's "deplorables" insult. "The deplorable comment stuck because it perfectly sums up how Democrats really feel. This is how they talk behind closed doors--they have nothing but contempt for everyday Americans," the aide said.

Elon Musk Previews DOGE Looking into Wealth of Lawmakers: ‘How Do they Become Rich?’

Tesla CEO and Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) head Elon Musk said the organization will look into the reasons so many members of Congress suddenly become rich, accumulating generational wealth over their years in government service.

Musk took questions during a town hall in Wisconsin on Sunday, and one individual asked if DOGE had uncovered any connection of funds to the likes of Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) or Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) via the highly scrutinized U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), which the State Department is trying to eliminate.

Musk explained that the government will often send money overseas, which flows to these non-governmental organizations, and he believes the funds end up coming back to the U.S., directly into the pockets of some of these lawmakers.

Describing it as a “circuitous route,” Musk explained, “It doesn’t go directly, but let’s just say that there’s a lot of strangely wealthy members of Congress where I’m trying to connect the dots of, ‘How do they become rich?’”

Members of Congress — outside of leadership positions — make $174,000 per year. This raises eyebrows when some are worth millions. Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), who has been in Congress since 1987, has a net worth of “at least $50.9 million, while Quiver Quantitative places her at $285.05 million,” according to Business Insider. Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL), who cofounded both HCA Healthcare and Solantic, is considered one of the richest in Congress, with a net worth of $549.91 million.

And while it is true that some lawmakers made their personal fortunes prior to coming to Congress, there is more than enough evidence to raise suspicions of a potential pipeline.

“How do they get $20 million if they’re earning $200,000 a year?” Musk asked. “We’re going to try to figure it out and certainly stop it from happening.”

His remarks come as the Department of State moves to eliminate the USAID, as Breitbart News reported:

In a memo obtained by Fox News, it was revealed that the Department of State under Secretary of State Marco Rubio, will “take on USAID’s programs as part of a merger that aims to streamline operations to deliver foreign assistance.”
As part of the merger, the Department of State is reportedly moving to “retire” USAID as an agency and is looking to terminate more than 4,000 USAID employees, the memo added.
A “senior official” from the Department of State confirmed to the outlet that “more than 4,650 USAID personnel will be cut from USAID,” which includes the “more than 1,500” employees who have already had their jobs terminated.

So far, DOGE has tallied up an estimated savings for U.S. taxpayers of $140 million.

Social media is abuzz with viral footage showing one of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s presidential limousines consumed by fire near intelligence headquarters in Moscow.

Eyewitnesses filmed thick black smoke pouring from a $350,000 Aurus Senat luxury vehicle on Saturday, with one clip alone garnering 1.7 million views. Nearby workers helped put out the fire, which likely began in the car’s engine bay and spread to the interior.

According to German outlet Bild, the limousine belongs to Putin’s Presidential Property Management Department, though whether the Russian dictator personally used this exact vehicle remains unconfirmed. Kremlin officials have remained silent, but a comprehensive security review has been ordered, particularly focusing on sewers near where the vehicle burned.

Normally, Putin’s motorcade involves heavily armored convoys surrounded by military special forces carrying AK-47s, anti-tank grenade launchers and anti-aircraft missiles. But security protocols around him have visibly tightened following December’s Ukrainian assassination of Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, who was responsible for Russia’s chemical and biological weapons programs. During Putin’s state visit to Murmansk on Friday, ceremonial guards underwent unprecedented weapons searches before official ceremonies.

China delays $23B sale of Panama Canal ports to US-backed consortium led by BlackRock

China has held up the $23 billion sale of dozens of ports worldwide — including two key ports in the Panama Canal — to a group led by US investing giant BlackRock after President Trump expressed concern about Beijing’s sway over the strategic shipping lanes.

On March 4, CK Hutchison, a Hong Kong-based conglomerate controlled by 96-year-old billionaire Li Ka-shing, announced plans to sell 43 port facilities globally — including critical ports at both ends of the Panama Canal and near the Suez Canal — for approximately $22.8 billion.

But China’s State Administration for Market Regulation unexpectedly initiated an investigation on Friday into potential violations of Chinese anti-monopoly laws, effectively stalling the deal.

China President Xi Jinping is reportedly “angry” over CK Hutchison’s plans to sell its Panama Canal port operations — particularly because the company did not consult Beijing beforehand, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The deal — spearheaded by BlackRock CEO Larry Fink, a longtime Trump confidante — called for an agreement to be signed by April 2, though it now is likely that the Wednesday deadline will be missed.

The Post has sought comment from BlackRock and the White House.

Insiders say Chinese leadership had hoped to leverage the port issue in its talks with the Trump administration, only to be caught off guard by the deal’s sudden progress.

Trump hailed the development as a strategic win over China — casting Panama as a key battleground in the broader US-China struggle for global influence.

In response, an op-ed published in the pro-Beijing newspaper Ta Kung Pao condemned the sale as a “betrayal of all Chinese people.”

The timing of the deal’s announcement, coming just before the start of the “two sessions,” China’s most significant annual political and economic gathering, only deepened the offense for Xi and the Chinese Communist Party.

The Panama Canal — used extensively by both the US and China — has reemerged as a flashpoint in global politics after President Trump renewed his pledge to assert American dominance over the waterway.

Beijing’s move to influence the affairs of CK Hutchison reinforced concerns among global observers about China’s diminishing distinction between private and public sectors as well as its aggressive encroachment into Hong Kong’s affairs.

Trump has claimed that the canal is controlled by China and operated by its military.

In reality, CK Hutchison, the company at the heart of the port sale, is headquartered in Hong Kong, a semi-autonomous region historically afforded a high degree of operational independence from Beijing.

The dispute over the canal’s ports arises at a sensitive moment as China faces ongoing tensions from a US trade war.

This week, Trump is expected to announce a new round of so-called “reciprocal tariffs.”
