Fox News Pentagon reporter Jennifer Griffin says that the first flight of illegal immigrants heading to Guantanamo Bay will be leaving today from Fort Bliss.
She reports that a group of 12 criminal illegals will be housed in the secure detention facility set up for set up for post 9/11 detainees.
Griffin adds about “150 Marines are at the Naval Station and have set up tents for about 1000 migrants” in an area separate from the secure detention facility.
Here’s more from Griffin:
US defense official to Fox: The first military flight of about a dozen migrants will leave Ft Bliss, Texas later today and will fly to Guantanamo Bay where they will be held in the detention facility that was set up for post 9/11 detainees. They will be separated from the 15 detainees already there including the 9/11 planners like Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.US defense official to Fox: About 150 Marines are at the Naval Station and have set up tents for about 1000 migrants in a section of the Naval Base that is separate from the post 9/11 detention facility. But those facilities are not ready yet for an onslaught of 30,000 migrants as promised by Defense Secretary Hegseth and the President and there is not yet enough security to keep even the most hardened migrant detainees there. The first group which are considered “criminal migrants,” I am told, will be held in the secure detention facility which has about 144 beds.https://therightscoop.com/breaking-first-flight-of-illegals-heading-to-gitmo-leave-today/
