President Trump’s nomination of Kash Patel as FBI Director was the subject of a lot of news today and CBS Face The Nation was all over it. They had on Senator Bill Hagerty to discuss it and he explained why he’s going to vote yes for Patel’s nomination:

I believe Kash Patel is going to have the support of many Republican Senators and it is because he is qualified to run and reform the FBI. But there will be massive pressure from the deep state to kill the nomination and there are a few Republican Senate squishes who could tank it. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen because both the FBI and DOJ need massive reform.
