Saudi Arabia Tells Citizens to Leave Lebanon Immediately as Iran Threatens Israel With “War of Annihilation”

Hezbollah continues rocket fire into northern Israel.

After Iran-backed terrorist group Hezbollah threatened Israel with an ‘all-out’ war, Saudi Arabia has joined the United States and other European countries in urging its citizens to ‘immediately’ leave Lebanon, Arab news outlet report.

Saudi-linked newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat reported Saturday:

Saudi Arabia has advised its nationals in Lebanon to leave the country immediately, its embassy in Beirut said on its X account on Wednesday.

“The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Lebanon is closely following the developments of the current events in the southern Lebanon region, calling on all citizens to adhere to the travel ban and to leave Lebanese territory immediately for those who are currently in Lebanon,” it said.

Last week, Hezbollah terror chief Hassan Nasrallah threatened to unleash a war with “no restraint and no rules and no ceilings” against Israel. There is “no place in [Israel] that would be spared our rockets and drones,” Nasrallah claimed, whose terror militia has been armed with thousands of rockets and missiles by the Iranian regime, boasted.

After Biden’s debate fiasco, Iran threatens Israel with “war of annihilation”

With President Joe Biden’s disastrous performance at Thursday night’s debate raising serious questions about his cognitive and leadership abilities, Iran has threatened Israel with an “obliterating war.”

Iranian mission at the United Nations warned that “an obliterating war will ensue” if Israel responded militarily to the growing terrorist aggression by its Lebanon-based terrorist proxy Hezbollah.

Iran threatened to unleash a multi-pronged attack on Israel, using its terrorist proxies spread across the Middle East. Tehran had “all options, including the full involvement of all resistance fronts, are on the table,” the Iranian diplomatic mission declared. Besides Hamas and Hezbollah, Iran’s terrorist “resistance fronts” includes Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), Yemen’s Houthis, as well as several terror militias based in Syria and Iraq.

The Jerusalem Post reported Saturday:

Iran’s UN Mission said on X on Saturday that if Israel attacks Lebanon, where the terrorist organization Hezbollah is based, with “full-scale military aggression, an obliterating war will ensue.”

“All options, including the full involvement of all resistance fronts, are on the table,” it said in the post. (…)

A Sunday report by The Telegraph stated that Iran was supplying powerful rockets to Hezbollah through Beirut’s Rafic Al Hariri International Airport and that recent months saw a significant increase in using the airport for storing strategic weapons.

While the Biden administration is withholding the key weapons shipments, and telling Israel ‘not to escalate’ tensions with Hezbollah, the Iran-backed terrorist group continued relentless cross-border rocket and drone attacks into northern Israel.

“Following the sirens that sounded over the past hour in northern Israel, three hostile UAVs were identified crossing from Lebanon into northern Israel and fell in the Western Galilee area,” the IDF said in a press release Saturday. “Furthermore, approximately 25 launches were identified that crossed from Lebanon toward the western Galilee and Galilee panhandle areas.”

“Israel Fire Services are currently operating to extinguish numerous fires that were ignited as a result of the attack,” the IDF statement added.

Since October 7, Hezbollah intensified cross-border rocket and mortar attacks into Israel. Around 60,000 Israeli civilians from towns along the border with Lebanon have been forced to flee their homes, recent media reports say.

Netanyahu: Iran planning to topple regimes in Jordan, Saudi Arabia

With the sitting U.S. president in visible physical and cognitive decline, Iran is reportedly plotting to take down Arab regimes.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday warned of Iranian plans to topple regimes in Jordan and Saudi Arabia. Iranian terror proxies were “on a march to conquer the Middle East… to conquer Saudi Arabia, conquer the Arabian peninsula,” Netanyahu told a group of visiting retired high-ranking U.S. military officials.

The Times of Israel reported Friday:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday warned visiting former US generals and admirals that Iran hopes to topple Middle Eastern regimes such as Jordan and Saudi Arabia, and that the first step to stopping their plan was to defeat Hamas.

At a meeting in Tel Aviv’s Defense Ministry headquarters, Netanyahu told the delegation sent by the Jewish Institute for National Security of America that the ongoing “seven-front” conflict was being managed by Israel’s arch-foe Iran, which sought to conquer its regional neighbors, namely Jordan.

“Their goal is to have a combined ground offensive from various fronts, coupled with a combined missile bombardment. We’ve been given an opportunity to scuttle it,” Netanyahu said. “The first requirement is to cut that hand, Hamas.”

“The people who did this thing to us are not going to be there,” he pledged, in an apparent reference to the October 7 massacre, and the ongoing attacks against Israel by Iranian proxies across the region. “We face a long battle — I don’t think it’s that long — but we’ll get rid of them.”

Netanyahu added that Israel also must “deter the other elements of the Iran terror axis,” referring to Iranian proxies operating in the Middle East.

“But we have to deal with the axis,” he said, arguing that the Iran-backed alliance is “on a march to conquer the Middle East… to conquer Saudi Arabia, conquer the Arabian peninsula.”

“It’s just a question of time,” he added.

“What’s standing in the way?” he asked. “The ‘small Satans’ — that’s us,” he added, referencing Iran’s disparaging nickname for Israel.

Netanyahu said Iran plans on later going after the “medium-sized Satans” — Europe — then the American “Great Satan.”

IDF continues ground operation in Rafah, northern Gaza

After weeks of heavy close-quarters fighting, the IDF was made significant inroads into the Hamas stronghold of Rafah. The military was in control of some 70 percent of the Rafah and had decimated the leadership structure of Hamas’s terrorist fighting force in the bastion.

“The IDF is continuing targeted, intelligence-based operational activity in the Rafah area,” the military added. “Over the past day, IDF ground troops eliminated numerous terrorists in the area, and with the [Israeli Air Force] IAF, dismantled a large amount of terrorist infrastructure, including underground terror tunnel shafts.”

The i24NEWS reported IDF advance in Rafah Saturday:

After a month and a half after the start of operation in Rafah in Gaza’s southmost city, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Friday claimed control of approximately 70% of the area. The Israeli military said Hamas’ operations frameworks have been disintegrated.

The group is said to have shifted from organized and hierarchical fighting to guerrilla warfare in small squads. The Hamas’ Rafah Brigade has not been eliminated, but “it is not certain that if one gives orders, there will be anyone who receives them,” said a senior officer in the area.

The Israeli ground troops were also taking on re-grouped Hamas terror fighters in the northern Gaza town of Shejaiya. “IDF troops are continuing operational activity against terror targets in the Shejaiya area, fighting simultaneously above and below ground,” the Israeli military disclosed Saturday. “Over the past day, the troops eliminated a large number of terrorists and located a weapons storage facility within a school compound in the area.”
