What the United Nations Has Become!
Yes, the United Nations was born out of the Second World War and the intent was a global body politic that would work to preclude the massive carnage of the First and Second World Wars. The organization was immediately tested shortly after its inception, with the Korean War. That was a combat engagement heavily fought by American military forces. Since that time, the United Nations has focused on “peacekeeping” missions, and their track record has not been what one would call stellar. The UN is replete with corruption, and most of its condemnations are levied against two member Nations, these United States and Israel.
Just like the European Union, the UN has become a globalist endeavor seeking to supersede the sovereignty of Nations and States. But, what is most disconcerting — disturbing, actually disgusting — about the UN are some of the assignments to its subordinate commissions. As a matter of fact, the most recent assignment of one country has earned the UN our esteemed “Stuck on Stupid Saturday” recognition. Actually, I believe we should recognize the United Nations as a “Stuck on Stupid Saturday” awardee in perpetuity!

Perhaps they were selected to offer a dissenting view on the issue. Along similar morally-perverse lines, the illegitimate, socialist, thuggish Maduro regime in Venezuela has been selected to join the UN’s human rights council — the body’s darkly farcical panel, from which the Trump administration rightly withdrew last year. Uh, let me state the obvious: Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot? If there was any doubt that the United Nations is a cesspool of socialist, communist, Stalinist, Islamist, statist, tyrannical regimes, this has to confirm what we knew was true.
Venezuela — a place where people are being starved to death, eating from garbage cans, going to sewers for drinking water, eating their pets and zoo animals, dying due to lack of medical supplies, being gunned down in the streets by armed government thugs, and run down by military vehicles — is now a member of the UN Human Rights Council? Folks, this just shows how delusional and deranged progressive socialist are, and have no shame in displaying such. Think about what the people in Venezuela must think, especially as the Russians and Chinese move in to bolster and support Maduro; all in our hemisphere.
But, wait, the UN will soon be passing a resolution to condemn Israel.So, why are we, these United States of America, still a member of the United Nations? Yes, I say the time has truly come to defund the United Nations and tell them, if they wanna stay, then pay up rent for that nice East River property. No more diplomatic immunity for UN delegation members. And, you know what? I want to see the Democrat (socialist) Party of America complain, whine, protest, and take the side of the United Nations that admitted Venezuela onto the Human Rights Council.
Take a look at the list of current, and new, members of the UN Human Rights Council: Saudi Arabia (infidels not allowed to Mecca and Medina), Pakistan (sanctuary for the Taliban), Somalia (home of Al Shabab), Nigeria (home of Boko Haram), Qatar (home of Hamas and Taliban leadership), Egypt (home of the Muslim Brotherhood), Cuba (communist), China (do I really need to tell ya?), Venezuela, Mauritania, Sudan (remember the Muslim genocide of Christians, Darfur), and Libya (a failed state and sanctuary for Islamic jihadists, where four Americans were murdered . . . and Obama lied).
YGTBSM! Who in their right mind can defend those countries being members of a human rights council? Yes, that was a rhetorical inquiry, the answer is only those who believe in the suppression of individual rights and freedoms. Talk about the fox watching the hen-house.
I, for one, consider it an utter outrage that we placate this gathering of corrupt snakes calling itself the United Nations. If there was ever a time to exit the United Nations, it is now. Our America is greater than any socialist, communist, Islamist repressive Nation. The United Nations has proven itself a failed organization, just like its predecessor, the League of Nations. I have no issue with a collective security organization such as NATO. However, to try to play the game of equality of governing systems is a failing endeavor. All nations are not equal, some just flat-out suck! I do not want my America sitting at the table with countries that suck . . . e.g., Venezuela.I, for one, consider it an utter outrage that we placate this gathering of corrupt snakes calling itself the #UnitedNations.
