Biden in 2016 Tells US Airmen “Clap! You Stupid Bastards”

Bizarre video has surfaced from a 2016 speech Vice President Joe Biden gave to a military audience of Airmen at an airbase in the United Arab Emirates. After listing accomplishments including a nomination Biden tells the audience to clap and calls them “stupid bastards.” The audience is dismayed but carries on while exchanging odd glances among one another.

This video shows an odd temperament for the former Vice President and a clear lack of candor. The audience of military members undoubtedly contained soldiers who had lost comrades or perhaps family members. Traditions of enlisting are common among service members. The moment did not go over well but was not covered at all in the media at the time.

The speech was made at Al-Dharfra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates in 2016. It was a speech where Biden promised to “squeeze the heart” of the Islamic State (ISIS). The speech was in front of airmen at an airbase where many sorties have been launched from. The hangar included an F-22 Raptor and an F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jet.

On the same trip Joe Biden met with the crown prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and also the president and prime minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid AlMaktoum. The visit was a low moment for the battle against ISIS. President Obama famously called them a JV Team but during this time the terrorist group was growing and making inroads while the Obama administration was floundering it’s Middle-Eastern strategy with a complete lack of direction.

Moments like this have been overlooked by the mainstream media. Joe Biden has a long history of major gaffes at political events. Calling US service-members stupid bastards to their face is the peak example of bad leadership. These great people have volunteered themselves and risked their futures for the defense of the country.
