Maxine Waters has long been one of the most vocal opponents that President Trump has. Her constant calls for mob fervor against the Commander in Chief and his conservative allies has earned her the nickname “Mad Max”, and cemented her status as one of the most prolific voices in the radical left’s “resistance” movement.
During the left’s hysteria over “RussiaGate”, Waters was fond of insinuating that our President was some sort of Kremlin double agent. Now, despite the 22 months and $25 million spent by Robert Mueller to prove that fears of a Russian conspiracy were unfounded, Waters is again dredging up that old chestnut in order to scare her constituents.
From a recent appearance on MSNBC:
On her early calls for impeachment, Waters said, “When I came to those conclusions early and starting the discussion, I wanted to sound the alarm that we better pay attention. And finally, it came to that, and I really knew that it would because of his character that he would not stop. And if he’s exonerated by the Senate when they do the trial, he’s going to get even worse. And I tell you, and I will predict he’s going to bring Putin into the White House for a meeting.”
At the end of Robert Mueller’s extensive investigation into the RussiaGate conspiracy theory, the Special Counsel recommend no charges against the President for “collusion” or conspiracy involving the Russian government.
