Francistan : North African gimmegrant rapefugee gang on trial for raping and robbing sex workers

A gang of military-aged migrant men from Morocco who’ve been accused of raping, extorting, robbing sex workers across several cities in France now face trial in Rennes.

According to Le Télégramme, the seven migrants, aged between 25 and 35, are alleged to have acted as if they were paying clients of the sex workers before robbing them and often raping them.

A few of the suspects have also been accused of beating and raping some of the prostitutes at their own homes.

The disturbing events are said to have happened in Rennes, Brest, Strasbourg, Metz, Quimper, Vannes, Angers, and Le Mans.

In 2018, two of the suspects were convicted of similar crimes in Paris.

Investigators say that the North African gang got away with 9,000 euros in one night by strong-arming several sex workers. The judge presiding over the court in Rennes that will be trialing the gang said that it would likely be challenging to gather witness statements from the victims given the nature of their work.

The trial is expected to last until the 18th of October.
