Your Autopen Pardon Has No Power Here! Rand Paul Is Preparing to Subpoena Tony Fauci

Calling Tony Fauci a Bond supervillain probably gives him too much credit. He's far too weasely to ever command an army of followers or achieve world domination. No, he's more like the scientist who aids the supervillain in his nefarious plans.

Kind of like Dr. No to Klaus Schwab's Ernst Stavro Blofeld.

Regardless of where he falls in the hierarchy of villainy, however, it appears that his time for accountability may be coming soon, autopen pardon or no autopen pardon.

Yesterday, Senator Rand Paul announced that he is preparing to subpoena Fauci to testify about his role in the development of COVID-19. As Nick Sortor notes below, because of his pardon, he will not be able to slither out of testifying by invoking the Fifth Amendment.

Senator Paul is a bit of a controversial figure among conservatives now due to his opposition to the 'Big Beautiful Bill,' but if there is one thing Americans know about him, it is that he is committed to making Fauci face justice sooner or later.

Paul appeared on Fox News yesterday to announce his plans, noting that Fauci IS going to have to testify ... willingly or unwillingly.

Paul did his best to hold Fauci's feet to the fire during the last administration, of course, but was always obstructed by the Biden administration and the Republicans' minority position in the Senate.

But there are many new sheriffs in town now, and they have no interest in protecting Fauci. On the contrary, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. recently said, in so many words, that Fauci is DIRECTLY liable for creating the virus and the pandemic.

As Sortor also noted here and in his first above, Fauci's autopen pardon does not protect him from perjury charges should he lie to Paul under oath again.

Also, there is that.

Obviously, we can't blame anyone for being skeptical, since this has happened before, with no result.

But the situation is significantly different in 2025 than it was for the previous four years.

We're certain that RFK Jr. will give the Senate all the receipts it asks for and more.

The Department of Justice is also being led by people now who, unlike Merrick Garland, would have no compunction about a criminal referral for Fauci.

It's probably a good idea to maintain some healthy skepticism, but there's also nothing wrong with hoping that justice will finally be served.

We're of half a mind that we'd love to see Fauci try to defy the subpoena.

Because watching him get perp-walked out of his home in an orange jumpsuit and leg irons is an image Americans have been dying to see for years.

Paul already has a great deal of proof that Fauci was lying before. The question is whether or not he will try to lie again.

Again, we kind of hope he does.

God had better have mercy. Because Paul won't.

And that is the moderate position.

Others (this writer included) would like to see him enjoy the same fate he subjected beagle puppies to.

We likely won't get either of those outcomes, but there's no question that Fauci will be in a very difficult position when Paul issues his subpoena.

Either he lies again and gets prosecuted for perjury, or he has to come clean, admit he lied in the past, and hope that his fake blanket pardon holds up to legal scrutiny.

Either way, it is long past time to watch that weasel squirm.

Editor's Note: The Democrat Party has never been less popular as voters reject its globalist agenda.

WTF? Parents Are Suing Fairfax School For Expelling Children Who Objected to HATEFUL Antisemitic Content

We're not sure what is happening in Fairfax, Virginia, but we know that it is abominable and we did 'Nazi' it coming.

This morning, news broke on X about a civil rights complaint that two parents filed against the Nysmith School, a private institution in Fairfax, for expelling their three daughters.

What was the students' unforgivable offense? Objecting to some of the most vile, antisemitic content we have seen this side of the Columbia University campus.

Marina Medvin announced the lawsuit, as well as some of the despicable rhetoric the children were subjected to, earlier today.

If some of those screenshots are difficult to see, another account provided some larger images.

That was from a social studies class in the school. And yes, that is Adolf Hitler, a figure who was presented to the children as a 'strong historical leader.'

It's hard to imagine it getting any worse, but it does.

The civil rights complaint also alleges that the children were subjected to bullying by other students telling them that all Jews are 'baby killers' who 'deserve to die.'

The complaint further alleges that when the parents initially talked to administrators, the school responded by telling their three daughters to 'toughen up.'

Finally, the parents received the letter below from Kenneth Nysmith, the head of the school, summarily expelling the three girls from Nysmith, providing no justification and despite the children having no disciplinary record.

Oh, look. He's giving them a prorated refund. Isn't that sweet?

Not a word about trying to put an end to rampant antisemitism in his school, not a hint of apology, just hit the road.

Hate to break it to Mr. Nysmith, but this is going to end up costing him a LOT more than refunding tuition and fees.

The full text of the civil rights complaint is available here.

Many people brought the complaint to the attention of Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares, as well as several DOJ officials.

At the time of this writing, none of those officials had issued a public statement about the complaint, but we will be shocked if those are not forthcoming within the next 24 hours.

We knew how bad Northern Virginia's public schools were, but it is a little surprising to see this from a private school. However, this is the culture that the DC swamp (which has overrun NoVa) has created and fostered.

Wow. Just ...wow.

The Nysmith School must have left off the part in their submission to Johns Hopkins for a ranking that only students from 'the master race' need apply.

That image should haunt Kenneth Nysmith forever. Not only should he be forced to resign, but he should be hit with criminal prosecution at the federal level in addition to this Virginia civil rights complaint.

And the school should probably be shuttered forever, no matter how highly Johns Hopkins ranks it.

The One Big Beautiful Bill Passes the Senate: What Comes Next

The Senate has done it—barely. After a marathon vote-a-rama session that stretched into the early morning hours, Republicans squeaked through their version of Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill by the thinnest possible margin: 51-50, with Vice President JD Vance casting the deciding vote.

Three Republicans—Susan Collins of Maine, Thom Tillis of North Carolina, and Rand Paul of Kentucky—broke ranks and voted against their own party's signature legislation. That's not unity. That's a warning shot about what comes next. But here's what Washington doesn't want you to understand: this razor-thin victory is where the real fight begins.

The Constitutional Reality Check

The Constitution requires both chambers to pass identical legislation before it reaches the president's desk. What the Senate just passed is not the same bill the House approved back in May. Not even close.

The House version would have added roughly $2.8 trillion to the deficit over ten years. The Senate version? We're looking at nearly $4 trillion. House conservatives have already said that they are not happy with the Senate version and they will be raising some serious objections.

However, the House Rules Committee is already meeting and working to get the bill to the floor, which in and of itself may be a challenge.

The Conference Committee Chess Match

Now comes the real legislative sausage-making. The House has three basic options:

  1. Accept the Senate version as-is and hold a new vote

  2. Demand a conference committee to hash out differences

  3. Send back amendments and ping-pong between chambers

Given the significant differences and the personalities involved, option two is most likely. That means appointing conferees, typically the top Republican leaders from both chambers, committee chairmen, and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, to negotiate behind closed doors.

But, Democrats can slow-walk this process through procedural motions. They can demand votes to "instruct conferees" on various provisions, eating up precious floor time. Trump wants this on his desk by July 4th. Every day of delay makes that deadline harder to meet.

The Republican Fracture Lines

When three Senate Republicans vote against their own party's marquee legislation, that tells you everything about the political dynamics ahead. Collins and Tillis, establishment Republicans from purple states, were clearly worried about the fiscal impact and political blowback. Rand Paul's "no" vote was pure fiscal conservatism: he's never met a deficit he wouldn't fight.

House Freedom Caucus members already think Senate Republicans are "profoundly unserious about spending," and that was before the Senate added another trillion dollars to the price tag while losing three GOP votes in the process. These are the same conservatives who nearly killed the bill in the House over Medicaid cuts and deficit concerns.

Rep. Chip Roy and others demanded $2 trillion in mandatory spending cuts as their price for supporting the original House bill. The Senate version moves in the opposite direction, increasing long-term costs while providing less aggressive spending reforms.

The political math is brutal: House Republicans can only afford to lose four votes. If a handful of conservatives look at Collins, Tillis, and Paul voting "no" and decide the Senate version is fiscally irresponsible, Speaker Johnson has a serious problem. When your own party needs the Vice President to break a tie in the Senate, it's hard to argue you have momentum going into House negotiations.

Johnson released a statement after the Senate version passed, saying, "The House will work quickly to pass the One Big Beautiful Bill that enacts President Trump’s full America First agenda by the Fourth of July."

"The American people gave us a clear mandate," the statement continued, "and after four years of Democrat failure, we intend to deliver without delay."

The Byrd Rule Complication

Here's where legislative procedure meets political reality. The Senate parliamentarian struck several provisions from the bill under the Byrd Rule, which limits what can be included in reconciliation. Those provisions can't be restored in conference without 60 votes, meaning Democratic cooperation.

This creates a one-way ratchet: provisions can be removed but not easily added back. House Republicans who want stronger immigration enforcement or faster green energy tax credit phase-outs may find their priorities permanently weakened.

The Realistic Scenarios

Most likely outcome: House Republicans demand a conference committee, fight for their spending cut targets, and accept some Senate compromises on tax provisions. But they'll use the narrow Senate margin as leverage, arguing that any further fiscal irresponsibility could lose even more Republican support. Timeline extends into mid-July, testing Trump's patience but producing a final bill.

Nuclear option: Trump personally pressures House Republicans to accept the Senate version wholesale, arguing that perfect shouldn't be the enemy of good. But the 51-50 vote actually weakens this argument. If Senate Republicans barely supported it, why should House conservatives embrace it? This risks conservative revolt and could fail spectacularly.

Breakdown scenario: Irreconcilable differences, amplified by the narrow Senate vote, force Republicans to abandon the "One Big Beautiful" approach and split priorities into multiple bills, which is exactly what Trump said he didn't want. The three Republican "no" votes give cover to House conservatives who want to start over.

The Bigger Picture

This conference committee fight represents a larger tension within the Republican party between Trump's populist agenda and traditional conservative fiscal discipline. The House version tried to balance tax cuts with spending restraint. The Senate version chose political expedience over fiscal responsibility, and still barely passed.

For Louisiana voters who supported Trump's economic agenda, the question becomes: Is it better to get 80 percent of what you want quickly, or fight for 100 percent and risk getting nothing? The narrow Senate vote suggests even Republicans are divided on that question.

The next few weeks will test whether Republican unity can survive contact with the mathematical reality of governing. Trump demanded one big, beautiful bill. What he got from the Senate was a 51-50 squeaker that exposed deep fissures in his own party. What emerges from House negotiations could determine whether Republicans can actually govern or whether they'll fracture under the weight of their own promises.

Whatever emerges from this conference committee process will shape American fiscal policy for the next decade. Louisiana families deserve to understand exactly what's being negotiated in their name and what it will cost their children and grandchildren to pay for a bill that couldn't even unite the Republican Party.

The real work is just beginning.

Trump Gives Illegal Aliens Advise About Escaping From Alligators

Speaking to reporters ahead of his trip to "eastern Alcatraz" on the South Lawn of the White House Tuesday, President Donald Trump gave some interesting advice to the illegal alien criminals who will be housed there.

"I guess that's the concept. This is not a nice business. I guess that's the concept," Trump said after being asked if inmates trying to escape could get eaten by alligators. "You know, the snakes are fast, but alligators, we're going to teach them how to run away from an alligator. Okay? If they escape prison, how to run away. Don't run in a straight line. Look like this. And you know what? Your chances go up about 1%. Not a good thing."The new facility is a project between the federal government and the state of Florida. Republican Governor Ron DeSantis has been working to prepare the facility for Trump's arrival.Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is touring the facility with Trump Tuesday.https://townhall.com/tipsheet/katiepavlich/2025/07/01/need-to-run-from-an-alligator-trump-has-advice-for-that-n2659756

🚨🚨BIG BREAKING: Senate just passed the Big Beautiful Bill

The US Senate just passed President Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill and now it will head back to the House of Representatives where they will need to pass this new version.

In order to get the bill passed in the Senate, Vice President JD Vance had to break the tie. Which means Susan Collins, Rand Paul and Thommy Tillis all voted against it.

Here’s the news:

If the House changes the bill at all, the Senate will have to pass the bill again, which would mean it won’t get to President Trump’s desk by Friday.

Miracle: Florida Man Gives God Glory After Cross Necklace Blocks Bullet from Hitting Heart

In the midst of tragedy, there’s always a bright spot.

A Florida man who was shot in the chest miraculously survived thanks to his cross necklace.

Aidan Perry, 20, was accidentally shot in the chest by a friend who was showing off his gun.

The bullet’s original path was to Perry’s heart, but the bullet ended up deflecting into fatty tissue after hitting Perry’s cross necklace.

Doctors stated that if Perry wasn’t wearing the necklace, the bullet would have pierced his heart.

Perry told WFLA, “I look at it as a lifesaver. Without it, I probably wouldn’t be talking to you guys right now.”

Per WFLA:

A Florida man who was shot in the chest credits a cross necklace for saving his life.

Aidan Perry, 20, told NBC affiliate WESH his friend was showing off a gun and accidentally fired it.

The bullet ricocheted off the golden necklace and became lodged in the fatty tissue of his chest. Doctors said the necklace saved his life, as it took most of the force of the bullet and slowed it down enough that it didn’t enter his chest.

If he hadn’t been wearing the necklace, doctors said the bullet could have pierced his lungs or heart.

LOOK:

Perry just didn’t give the cross necklace credit but gave thanks to God who is the message behind the cross.

“I think God played a big role in this, I think he’s the reason that I’m still here today,” shared Perry.
