Trump to Address Nation on Tuesday Night From Mar-a-Lago Just Hours After Arraignment

Campaign spokesperson confirms speech will take place starting 8:15 p.m. ET

Former President Donald Trump arrives at Trump Tower the day after FBI agents raided his Mar-a-Lago Palm Beach home, in New York on Aug. 9, 2022.

Trump adviser Jason Miller confirmed to Newsmax on Sunday he would deliver the speech at his Florida residence after he is arraigned by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg following a grand jury indictment last week.

“Trump is going to be giving a speech on Tuesday night at Mar-a-Lago 8:15 p.m. I think the entire world will be watching just how strong and just how fervent he is, that we must continue this Make America Great Again movement, because you can’t have Trump policies without President Trump,” Miller told the channel.

Miller did not elaborate on the contents of Trump’s speech. The former president delivered his 2024 campaign announcement at Mar-a-Lago in mid-November.

“Nobody wants to go see the tribute band when the Rolling Stones are still playing,” he added. “They’re here for President Trump and the Republican Party is solidly behind him.” Miller also said that recent polls show that Trump “has a decisive lead over Joe Biden” in the general presidential election.

Bragg’s office is investigating Trump regarding payments he made to adult performer Stormy Daniels during the 2016 campaign and whether he misclassified those payments as business expenses rather than campaign expenses. The former president and his lawyers have criticized the case as politically motivated and an attempt to harm his 2024 chances.

The indictment, however, has not been unsealed by Bragg’s office. Legal experts have said that in New York, those court documents are unsealed after a defendant appears in court for arraignment.

A lawyer for the former president, Joe Tacopina, told The Epoch Times last week that he will surrender for his arraignment in New York City on Tuesday, April 2. It’s not clear if Trump will also make a statement then or how it will be handled as some have speculated that the former president would have to get his mugshot taken.

There were reports indicating that his arraignment would be planned at around 2:15 p.m. ET on Tuesday, but Miller suggested that the president could be taking a morning trip to the courthouse. It takes about two hours to travel by plane from South Florida to New York City.

Since it was reported that Trump would be indicted, the former president has not kept a low profile amid his third presidential bid. The president, who frequently criticizes Democrats including Bragg and President Joe Biden, has been using it as a campaign fundraising opportunity. Reports say he generated at least $4 million in contributions in the 24 hours after he was indicted.

Trump has also criticized the judge assigned to the case as another example of the investigation being part of a political witch hunt.

Former President Donald Trump speaks at the Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Fla., on Nov. 15, 2022.

“The Judge ‘assigned’ to my Witch Hunt Case, a ‘Case’ that has never been charged before, hates me,” Trump said on Truth Social Friday. The judge, acting New York Supreme Court Judge Juan Merchan, was “hand picked” by the Democratic district attorney, Trump alleged.

“They only brought this Fake, Corrupt, and Disgraceful Charge against me because I stand with the American People, and they know that I cannot get a fair trial in New York!” the former president also wrote on Truth Social.

Meanwhile, Tacopina told ABC News on Sunday that he does not know what to expect during the Tuesday arraignment.

“I’ve done a million arrangements in that courthouse with celebrities and whatnot, but this is a whole different thing. We have Secret Service involved,” he noted. “I understand they’re closing the courthouse for the afternoon. I just don’t know what to expect to see.”

But the attorney said he hopes that Trump can “get in and out” of the courthouse “as quickly as possible.” He predicts that it will be a “typical arrangement, where we stand before the judge, we say, not guilty, we set schedules to file motions and whatnot or discovery and we move forward and get out of there.”

One Year Later, Still No Updates Regarding Five Late Term Aborted Babies Found In DC, Advocates Say

  • March 25 was the first anniversary of the discovery of 115 aborted babies in a toxic waste bin in Washington D.C., five of which were late-term but police have given no updates to the investigation since April 2022, according to pro-life advocates.
  • When questioned by Republican Rep. Anna Luna of Florida during a House Oversight hearing on Wednesday, members of the D.C. council said they did not know if an investigation was taking place.
  • As they proceeded to empty the box of the 110 small babies all of our heart’s dropped when we discovered five larger buckets with five full-term babies,” Mark Story, a photojournalist, told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

This week was the first anniversary of the discovery of over 100 aborted babies in Washington D.C., five of which were reported to be potential infanticides but police have given almost no information regarding the status of the investigation, according to pro-life advocates.

On March 25, 2022, 115 bodies of aborted babies were found in toxic waste containers from the Washington Surgi-Center in Washington, D.C. by Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising (PAAU), five of them appeared to be late-stage, and looked to have been potentially left to die after a failed abortion attempt, according to Live Action. The bodies were turned over to the police but despite multiple calls for investigation into the clinic and circumstances surrounding the abortions, the city has failed to take any action according to several pro-life advocates that spoke with the Daily Caller News Foundation. (RELATED: Rep. Anna Paulina Luna Breaks Down While Sharing Photos Of Aborted Full-Term Babies)

“The horrific wounds on the bodies of these innocent children—some who were nearly full-term, and all may have been able to survive outside the womb—indicate destructive violations of federal law,” Lila Rose, president and founder of Live Action told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “We demand justice for these children who deserved life and were not protected against these brutal actions. I urge the pro-life majority in the House of Representatives to hold a full investigation on this matter as we demand Justice for the Five.”

E.V. Osment, vice president of communications at Susan B. Anthony pro-Life America, told the DCNF that the lack of concern surrounding the case was incredibly frustrating.

“Why do we have no answers on this? We have no autopsies [and] we have no data,” Osment said. “Thankfully, yesterday in a congressional hearing, Representative Luna grilled the D.C. authorities on where the investigation stands, but they couldn’t even answer; they had no answer for her.”

Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna of Florida broke down in tears during the House Oversight Committee hearing on Wednesday and demanded that the bodies of the five larger babies be autopsied by the D.C. Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine if they were left to die after a failed abortion attempt at the Washington Surgi-Center.

D.C. police initially said they were looking into the situation immediately after the bodies were reported, according to CNN, but have not provided any updates since early April 2022. When questioned by Luna, members of the D.C. council said they did not know if an investigation was taking place.

The Metro Police Department told the DCNF that the case is under investigation but did not disclose what the status was or why the D.C. city council was unaware of the investigation.

Mark Story, a photojournalist, told the DCNF that he was there when PAAU members opened the containers.

“When they opened the box we immediately knew what was in it,” Story said. “As they proceeded to empty the box of the 110 small babies, all of our heart’s dropped when we discovered 5 larger buckets with five full-term babies. It was devastating.”

Story said that a Catholic deacon was praying as they went through the container and others in the room were “distraught” at the sight of all the bodies. One of the larger babies, nicknamed “Harriet,” had a profound impact on Story, who said that from the moment he laid eyes on her, he “saw God’s creation.”

“Even though she was morbidly disfigured by the abortionist, God gave me peace and helped me see her beauty,” Story said. “She was God’s creation no matter what she had been through in her short little life.”

The clinic the bodies were from is run by abortionist Cesare Santangelo, who was filmed by an undercover pro-life advocate in 2013 saying that he would not try to save a child if it survived an abortion attempt, according to Live Action. Santangelo has also reportedly said that his preferred method of abortion is by cutting a child’s umbilical cord and waiting for cardiac arrest.

The Washington Surgi-Center clinic refused the DCNF’s request for comment.

Dr. Robin Pierucci, M.D., a neonatologist, medical director of a 50-bed NICU, and an associate scholar with the Charlotte Lozier Institute, told the DCNF that the five children in those containers were larger than the ones she works with in the NICU.

“I can say that because I know there was at least one or two of the babies that they definitely needed two hands to hold,” Pierucci said. “Babies that are born on the edge of viability, which is now down to about 22 weeks gestation and approximately 500 grams, you can pretty much hold them in one hand. Those babies were bigger than that, more well developed, and you could just tell they were farther along in gestation than the youngest that we have the opportunity and privilege to take care of in the NICU.”

Pierucci said that the D.C. medical examiner needed to investigate some of the “signs that look worrisome,” such as the fact that one baby appeared to have been pulled out and left to suffocate in its amniotic sac and another’s head was crushed. Osment said that the information PAAU found “indicates and leads” to the potential that the babies were left to die after a failed abortion, but echoed Pierucci, saying a medical examiner must determine that for certain.

“Don’t stop talking about the D.C. Five,” Osment told the DCNF. “These children did not deserve to have passed in this way and then to just be forgotten. We just ask that everyone could please continue to put pressure, and continue to talk about them and keep their memories alive and to stop this from happening in the future.”

PAAU, Washington Surgi-Center, D.C. mayor’s office, D.C. Chief Medical Examiner’s office and Santangelo did not respond to the DCNF’s request for comment.

Toxic RINO Asa Hutchinson Announces 2024 Presidential Bid, Calls on Trump to Drop Out of Race

Toxic RINO Asa Hutchinson on Sunday announced his 2024 White House bid.

The former governor of Arkansas made the announcement during an interview with ABC’s Jon Karl.

“I’m convinced that people want leaders that appeal to the best of America and not simply appeal to our worst instincts,” Hutchinson said.

Hutchinson, 72, also called on Trump to drop out of the race following the indictment handed down by a Manhattan grand jury.

Trump was hit with 34 counts related to business fraud, including one felony charge after a Soros DA pursued a case in an effort to ‘get Trump.’

Asa Hutchinson cheered the tyranny and called on Trump to drop out of the 2024 race.

“For the sake of the office of the presidency, I do think that’s too much of a sideshow and distraction, and he needs to be able to concentrate on his due process, and there is a presumption of innocence,” Hutchinson said.

Hutchinson continued, “I’m not supportive of Donald Trump. I want to provide an alternative, but I’m happy if the voters make that decision and choice. I don’t like the idea of the charges from what I’ve seen coming out of New York. But the process has got to work, and we’ve got to have respect for our criminal justice system, but also for the office of presidency.”

Hutchinson said he will make the formal announcement to run on April 26.

This guy is delusional.

Our Message To The Left: Here I Stand

Totalitarians loathe debate. They sometimes discuss a particular issue, but too often, the conversation devolves into fits of emotion, false premises, and outright lies. Most of us know people like this, and there are several reasons why calm, forensic debate with them is nearly impossible.

The rookies of the American Left usually adhere pretty well to the talking points of whatever the issue is. Unfortunately for them, the messaging is a mile wide and an inch thick. They’ve been told what to believe and what to say, but they’re ill-instructed on the ‘why’ of their beliefs. So, flustered by their intellectual impotence, they often resort to name-calling and appeals to “educate yourself!”

More experienced Leftists will conflate an issue with things that have nothing to do with the topic. Another tactic involves inventing a false premise to create a distraction and move the conversation away from the matter at hand.

Militant Leftists take a hard-line approach. They’re adept at tearing down whatever institutions underpin the subject matter. Sometimes, this is done rhetorically, but militants are not shy about engaging in violence, up to and including mass murder.

At the core of this hatred of debate, and the questions that shape it, is the Left’s innate knowledge, however slight, that their positions are entirely indefensible. There is no truth and little logic to support any policy they want to inflict on Americans. When their inability to defend their ideas occurs to them, things get ugly and civil debate ends.

This totalitarian behavior is not new. But, unfortunately, much of what passes for discourse today reprises a debate style that emerged at the dawn of the most consequential event since the Edict of Milan; the Protestant Reformation.

The debate began on October 31, 1517, when a Roman Catholic monk named Martin Luther presented his 95 Theses to the Archbishop of Mainz. They were subsequently nailed to the University of Wittenberg church door, not in the act of defiance but because the church door served as a bulletin board for students and Luther’s fellow professors.

Luther made 95 one-sentence assertions detailing his views on the state of Christianity and wrote in his preface that he “intends to defend the following statements and to dispute on them in that place.” It was an invitation to debate his fellow academics about matters Luther saw as crucial to the faith.

But inviting a forensic discussion of these 95 issues enraged the ruling theocracy for the same reason American Leftists despise debate today. The medieval power structure knew their positions were indefensible and could not withstand scrutiny, so argument needed to be crushed.

The biggest threat to the theocracy involved money, and the payment of indulgences to the church in Rome. Initially, the corporate church promoted German friar Johann Tetzel to debate Luther. Tetzel was chosen for this task because he sold a lot of indulgences in Germany.

Tetzell was an outstanding salesman but was woefully out of his depth in debate. His talking points were a mile wide and an inch thick, and he utterly failed, ending his career with a demotion. But rather than continue the debate, they simply changed the subject and ramped up the slander. Finally, about a year after posting his 95 Theses, Luther was ordered to appear in Augsburg, Germany, to defend himself against accusations of heresy.

Still unable to refute Luther, the ruling class sought to cancel him via ex-communication in 1521. He was then allowed to recant before the Diet of Worms, the theocracy’s legislative assembly. But Luther’s position was founded on truth, and the other side was founded on lies, so he held his ground.

After failing to cancel or intimidate Luther, the government decided he needed killing. So Emperor Charles V declared Luther an outlaw, meaning he could be killed on sight. Thankfully, Luther had a political ally in Frederick the Wise of Saxony, who orchestrated the fake kidnapping of Luther and provided a haven at his castle in Wartburg, Germany.

Civic debate in America today parallels the theocratic response to Luther, whose sin was seeking discussion and asking questions. Like medieval theocrats, the modern Left is keenly aware they cannot prevail in the civil debate. Hence, they slander, intimidate and seek to wreck whatever and whomever they must to prevent debate.

But Luther had none of it and confidently told the Diet of Worms, "Acting against one’s conscience is neither safe nor sound. Here I stand; I can do no other" in seeking debate, Luther propelled the Reformation forward and articulated the freedoms of religion, speech, press, peaceable assembly and redress of grievances enshrined in the First Amendment of our Constitution.

Whether the American Left will succeed in using these regressive tactics today depends on us. So it’s time to say, ‘Here I stand.’

Jason Whitlock: I've Never Voted Before, But The Left Has Made Me Hardcore MAGA & Ready For Whatever Is Next

Columnist Jason Whitlock explained how the indictment of former President Donald Trump has made him "hardcore MAGA." Whitlock revealed he has never voted before but is now changing his mind an interview with FOX News host Tucker Carlson on Thursday.

"Tucker, I don't say this with pride, I really don't. I am just being factual. I've never voted. So I am not saying it with pride. I am hardcore MAGA tonight. I will be voting, I am hardcore MAGA. I've never voted. I've observed Trump, I'm somewhat supportive of Trump. But they have made me MAGA and they have made me ready for whatever is next because of what they are building for young people, I can't sit by and let it happen without raising my voice and without being willing to sacrifice whatever so that kids don't live in a communist Marxist society," Whitlock said.

WHITLOCK: They don't like our Judeo-Christian founding. That's why they don't like the Founding Fathers. That's why they want to overthrow the constitution that is laced with biblical values and biblical principles. They want a Marxist, godless, communist country. Plain and simple. Clear as day. With the alphabet mafia. This LGBTQ alphabet mafia in control. The Godless people that you're talking about that are totally antithetical to Christianity and biblical values wants control and has ceased control and they feel like taking down Donald Trump and beating everyone else into submission, and just making them give up. Give up on Donald Trump.

Tucker, I don't say this with pride, I really don't. I am just being factual. I've never voted. So I am not saying it with pride. I am hardcore MAGA tonight. I will be voting, I am hardcore MAGA. I've never voted. I've observed Trump, I'm somewhat supportive of Trump. But they have made me MAGA and they have made me ready for whatever is next because of what they are building for young people, I can't sit by and let it happen without raising my voice and without being willing to sacrifice whatever so that kids don't live in a communist Marxist society.

These people think the government is going to take care of them don't understand history, they've never studied history. They don't understand how tyrannical a government is.

If they have their way, we're all catching hell except for the elites. Yes, I have a very good bank account and perhaps I am an elite but my heart is working class. My parents were factory workers. I came from nothing in this country. I'm black. They're telling everybody black kids -- oh, you can't come from nothing and make it in this country. That's bullshit.

This country is the greatest country in the history of the planet. It's the safest and most prosperous place for black people and all people. That's why people are beating down the doors to get here and they demonize the whole thing and they turn Trump into this devilish, Luciferian character when they are the devils. They're the ones that don't believe in God.

Republicans Unveil Bill to Prevent Campaign Funds From Going To Candidate’s Immediate Family

California Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters has paid her daughter over $1.2 million in total over the last decade and it’s all been legal. Now, Republicans are aiming to put a ban on lawmakers from putting family members on the campaign payroll after many prominent Democrats have been called out over the practice.

Republican Texas Rep. Pat Fallon has introduced legislation called the Family Integrity to Reform Elections Act, which would prevent campaign funds from going to a candidate’s immediate family. The bill, if passed, would also make the candidate directly responsible for knowingly violating the provision.

“The Family Integrity to Reform Elections (FIRE) Act is a critical step to reducing nepotistic practices in American campaigns. Allowing direct family members to be on the take of campaigns must come to an end. For example, Maxine Waters, the worst perpetrator, has given her daughter over $1.1 million in campaign funds. This is utterly egregious, and I will not stand by as the integrity of our elections is further diminished,” Fallon told the Daily Caller.

The bill would not be good for Waters.

“Waters’ campaign shelled out $8,000 in September to Karen Waters, a surplus to the over $1 million her daughter has raked in from the campaign since 2003, according to Federal Election Commission filings. But scrutiny over lawmakers paying family members with campaign money has heightened as of late, with some Republicans aiming to bar the practice through legislation,” the Washinton Examiner reported.

“The over $1 million given to Karen Waters, including the $8,000, has been for slate-mailer operations. Karen Waters has also been paid for things such as “administrative services,” “fundraising,” and “rally expenses,” according to filings. Waters came under fire a few months ago for paying daughter another $24,000 in campaign cash during the most recent quarter,” the outlet added.

Over the summer, the New York Post published a similar report.

“The Family Integrity to Reform Elections (FIRE) Act, to be introduced by Rep. Pat Fallon (R-Texas) on Monday, would bar any candidate running for federal office from compensating immediate family members for campaign services,” the New York Post reported.

“It is currently legal for lawmakers to employ family members to work on campaigns. However, Federal Election Commission regulations prohibit paying candidate relatives a salary unless they are ‘providing bona fide services to the campaign” and the salary represents “fair market value of the services provided.’ The legislation – first reviewed by The Post – would extend the ban to any political committee ‘established, maintained or controlled by a candidate or an individual holding Federal office’ – blocking any current lawmaker from compensating a family member for working on their campaign,” the report added.

“Maxine Waters [paid] $1.1 million to her daughter from campaign funds,” Fallon told The Post in a statement. “Ilhan Omar, $2.9 million to her husband from campaign funds. James Clyburn, over $200,000 to multiple family members from his campaign.”

“The numbers speak for themselves,” Fallon added. “Americans are sick of politicians abusing their voters’ hard-earned money. This modern-day spoils system must end. My bill shines light on shady campaign finance practices while punishing those who take advantage of these funds to enrich their families.”

“Karen Waters, who has been organizing slate-mailing operations to bolster her mother’s re-election for nearly two decades, and her company, Progressive Connections, have received more than $1.2 million since 2003 for campaign services, including ‘slate mailer management’ fees and ‘campaign managing services,'” Fox News reported.

“A Citizens for Waters campaign committee filing from earlier this week shows that the younger Waters received $24,000 from the committee between January and March 2022. Slate-mailing is an uncommon practice in federal elections, where a consulting firm is hired to create a pamphlet of sorts that contains a list of candidates or policy measures and advises voters on how to cast their ballots,” the report added.

It’s legal for federal lawmakers to employ family members on campaigns, but the practice is frowned upon by ethics experts.

Last year it was reported that Waters had funneled more than $1 million from her various campaigns to her daughter Karen Waters, Fox News reported.

What are the Pros and Cons of a Convention of States?

 April 27, 2015

So, it seems we are toast.

This was Ricochet’s overwhelming verdict. The United States is doomed. I admit I took this a bit badly. (I’d always thought it must just be me. I figured a brisk walk, some sunshine, and a stiff drink would set me right. Apparently not.)

There was, however, one response that got my attention. HVTs suggested something I’d never once considered: Using Article V of the Constitution to call a Convention of States:

…. there is a viable way that can turn our ship of state out of the the shoal waters it’s presently navigating.

Fortunately, the Founders foresaw the possibility (some felt it was a likelihood) that concentrating power in a Federal government ran the risk of it becoming a source of oppression every bit as onerous as George III. They left us with a solution as big as the problem: Article V.

Article V, which spells out how to propose and ratify Constitutional amendments, ensures that the States have the means to amend the Constitution without any interference from Washington’s despotic, out-of-control political class. The solution, then, resides with us.

We have all the Constitutional levers we need. We have to stop snivelling, get engaged, stay engaged and demand our State legislators seek the remedies we need through Article V of the Constitution.

Have a look at the website and tell me what you think. I thought it was an interesting idea.
