ESPN executives are furious with Aaron Rodgers after he ripped Anthony Fauci as a ‘coward’ and called ESPN a ‘gutless organization’ after they refused to cover the Mike Vrabel adultery scandal from earlier this year.

ESPN is reportedly furious after Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers launched a scathing attack on the network during his appearance on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ earlier this week.

The four-time NFL MVP appeared on McAfee’s show on Tuesday to sit down with the former Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee at Steelers training camp in Latrobe, PA. However, his appearance on the show, which airs on ESPN, went off the rails almost immediately, with Rodgers taking no prisoners as he launched into a tirade where he branded Anthony Fauci a “coward” before turning his attention to ESPN’s coverage of the scandal involving Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini earlier this offseason.

“You have literally an individual that maybe used to work at ESPN that covers our league at the highest level, and there’s a major scandal, and it’s just like, nobody can f—— talk about it? What are we even doing here?” said Rodgers of the Vrabel-Russini scandal.

He added, “If there’s leaks going on, if there’s tampering going on… if that person is also an MVP voter and a Coach of the Year voter? … How are we allowing these people to have an impact?”

Rodgers also branded ESPN a “gutless organization” that has “no integrity.” The Mail reports that network executives are seething following Rodgers’ appearance on the show, with officials set to enact revenge upon the Steelers star, who is playing his final season in the NFL.

“ESPN executives are extremely unhappy with Aaron Rodgers following his comments on The Pat McAfee Show and are now weighing how they want to handle coverage of his highlights during the upcoming season,” a source told the Mail.

I love how Aaron Rodgers doesn’t get a crap and says what he thinks. And the fact that he did it on ESPN is a huge plus. Let the executives rage – who cares.
