Spencer Pratt is calling Democrat-run Los Angeles a place of anarcho-tyranny after highlighting a story about a citizen who got a ticket for accidentally parking for a few minutes in the wrong spot, in an area where the homeless have completely and illegally taken over the streets.
Los Angeles has legal restrictions against sleeping on public sidewalks, even theoretically in Skid Row, which is the most infamous homeless encampment area in the city. Obviously, Democrats do not enforce these laws, but they do exist, meaning that all the people who had set up their tents and their sleeping apparatus in the area around the woman in the story below were, in fact, almost certainly breaking the law. I don’t expect them to face any consequences for their illegal actions, because as we saw in the primary election for mayor of L.A., the Democrats absolutely depend on ballot harvesting from and the bribing of homeless voters to stay in power. But more on that later.
Los Angeles GOP Chairwoman Roxanne Hoge expressed her understandable frustration at the fact that she has to pay $70 because she accidentally parked in an off-limits spot for less than seven minutes, but homeless people are allowed to wreck the area completely and with impunity.
Pratt posted in response, “Anarcho-tyrrany [sic]. If zombie criminals ruining the city get a free pass, and decent, responsible, taxpayers get shafted…what’s the point of being a decent, responsible taxpayer?” That is why so many taxpayers have moved out of state, of course, if they can afford to do so.

Sadly, this pro-crime attitude is typical in Los Angeles now. It is why Spencer Pratt was heading for the mayoral general election until several weeks of “counting” suddenly squeezed him out in a “statistically impossible” fashion. The California Post subsequently confirmed that numerous homeless people took a few bucks each in exchange for casting ballots for Mayor Karen Bass (D) or socialist Councilwoman Nithya Raman. And according to the homeless voters, ballot harvesters regularly come down to bribe them to vote, sometimes under other people’s names.
I think that answers the question as to why Los Angeles city officials refuse to clean out homeless encampments, but do everything possible to squeeze law-abiding citizens of money. The homeless people can help Democrats rig elections in their favor. But a Republican voter like Hoge is, to Bass and company, anathema, even if she is a responsible and economically contributing citizen.
