Elon Musk Blasts Both Barrels, Reloads, and Fires Again

Elon Musk certainly knows how to grab you by the eyeballs and make you listen as he drops truth bombs on you. He may be the most interesting man in the world, although he doesn't have quite the dashing good looks and smooth demeanor of the Dos Equis man. 

As an autist, he doesn't have the kind of slick charm and devilish demeanor of a Svengali who can charm you into anything. He has, instead, a keen intellect, an almost-charming bluntness, and an ability to see into dimensions of reality that are invisible to most of us. 

Combine that with a willingness to say things that need to be said, even when they hurt, and Musk becomes the most important man in the world. He just might be the savior of Western Civilization. 

He recently sat down with Zanny Minton Beddoes, the Editor of the British magazine The Economist, the Voice of The Establishment. And as The Establishment has become the "Enemy of the People," as Trump so directly and rightly says, The Economist is one of those oh-so-civilized voices of evil, along with The New York Times and the rest of Pravda. 

In 90 Minutes, our WASPy interviewer tried again and again to box Musk in and establish that he is an agent of the "Far Right" proto-fascist political movement they so desperately want to imagine, and Musk threw it all right back in her face. 

It wasn't a fair contest in the least. Zanny came in with all the cards but one: Elon Musk was willing to challenge her premises when she voiced the oh-so-obvious "truths" with which she intended to take Musk down.

 Elon Musk: "ZERO died because of DOGE. Zero point zero!"  

"When funding is stopped for a fraudulent organization, or for something do you think they're going to say,"Will you please keep funding the fraud!' 

Or do you think they're going to come up with a sad story that sounds sympathetic in order to get the funding restored? 

Obviously it will be the latter and that's exactly what they did!!!"

LIBERAL WHITE WOMAN: "The cuts certainly caused unnecessary suffering!"

Elon Musk: "No."  

LIBERAL WHITE WOMAN: "You don't buy that at all?!"  

Elon Musk: "It caused a lot of complaining!"  

LIBERAL WHITE WOMAN: "You don't believe any kid in Africa died because of the suddenness with which... 

Elon Musk: Zero! How many NGOs could step in? There are literally tens of thousands of NGOs. The Gates Foundation has FIFTY BILLION! What about them? What about any number of organizations?!"

In 90 minutes, she threw out "facts" that "everybody knows," such as that Elon killed children in Africa, or that he fronts for fascists, and that he is "despised." It would be enough to intimidate most people into a defensive ball. 

So much of the criticism of Elon and others is based on lighting a fire to straw men, and on denying basic facts (such as the rape gang problem). Other criticisms rely on repeating lies, such as the "Elon killed X number of people." So much boils down to making you accept their false premises, and leading you down a path to believing their Truman Show is real. 

I followed the USAID controversies very closely and saw the Op as it rolled out. As soon as USAID required aid recipients to justify "life-saving" aid before they continued getting it (remember, DOGE and Trump would continue funding for a program that showed it was necessary to preserve life and health), suddenly hospitals closed rather than file the paperwork.

Just like those hospices in Los Angeles. 

Most people don't even realize that the health programs are still funded through the State Department, and nobody asks why, if the defunded programs were so necessary, literally nobody else stepped up to save them. Not the UN, not the major foundations with billions at their disposal, and not any European country even contributed a dime. 

Instead, they screamed. Just as Gavin Newsom and Tim Walz did when they were caught committing fraud. 

Does anybody seriously believe that the money troubles of the broke DNC and the defunding of USAID have no connection? Surely the answer is yes, but only because they believe Pravda.

At base, the loathing of Elon by the Establishment derives from his willingness to tell the truth, and to let others say what they think. He went from hero to villain by endorsing Ron DeSantis, and became public enemy #1 when he bought Twitter. In doing so, he shattered the great myth that leftists are the good guys. He became the agent of destruction for the myths that make leftism seem good. 

One of the great myths with which the Establishment cannot part ways is the "diversity is our strength" meme; it is the foundational belief that leads them to zealously defend the indefensible, such as suppressing the reality of rape gangs and the problems that come from incompatible cultures clashing. 

ELON MUSK: “My political views are very centrist. They’re not far right. Frankly, calling them far right is an insult to history and an insult to many people. It is an outrageous falsehood. It’s completely absurd. I have literally stated my position, and I’ve been very clear about this: there need to be secure borders.

If there’s an influx of immigrants, then they need to be people who agree with Western ideals and Western values. If there is long-term growth of people who do not, or in some cases are adamantly opposed to Western values, you are setting yourself up for civil war. This is obvious. A child can see this, but this is not a right wing view. I'm simply stating reality.”

I can't summarize the discussion, but merely highlight a few of the high points. The whole interview is well worth watching if you have the time. It's not all culture war stuff at all, and certainly not all hostile interactions. He discusses AI, the future of the economy and humanity, and how he allocates his time and effort in his drive to remake the future. 

Elon is flawed, as we all are. But he is the man we need at the time we need him.
