Mitch McConnell Rushed to Hospital

Senator Mitch McConnell was hospitalized on Sunday morning, according to his spokesperson.

The 84-year-old Kentucky Senator is “receiving excellent care” the spokesman said.

It is unclear why McConnell was admitted to the hospital.

This is the second time McConnell has been hospitalized in the last couple months.

Earlier this year McConnell was hospitalized with flu-like symptoms.

“In an abundance of caution, after experiencing flu-like symptoms over the weekend, Senator McConnell checked himself into a local hospital for evaluation last night,” a spokesperson for McConnell said in February.

His prognosis is positive and he is grateful for the excellent care he is receiving. He is in regular contact with his staff and looks forward to returning to Senate business,” the spokesperson added.

McConnell is suffering from a myriad of health problems.

In October, McConnell took a nasty fall in the Russell basement.

McConnell fell down hard and had to be helped up. It is important to note that McConnell has a weak leg after suffering from Polio as a child.

In February 2025, McConnell fell twice in one day.

McConnell took a spill down marble steps after voting to confirm HUD Secretary. He was later spotted in a wheelchair after falling multiple times.

McConnell has also suffered from freezing episodes.
