According to a report from World Israel News, President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning that Iran’s oil infrastructure could face catastrophic failure within days due to a tightening American blockade.
In a Sunday interview with Fox News, Trump described how the Islamic Republic’s inability to export oil is rapidly overwhelming its storage systems, potentially leading to irreversible damage as early as this week.
“When you have, you know, lines of vast amounts of oil pouring through your system, if for any reason that line is closed because you can’t continue to put it into containers or ships, which has happened to them — they have no ships because of the blockade — what happens is that line explodes from within, both mechanically and in the earth,” Trump told Fox News.
The president emphasized the permanence of such damage, stating, “It’s something that happens where it just explodes. And they say they only have about three days left before that happens. And when it explodes, you can never, regardless, you can never rebuild it the way it was.”
Experts cited in related reporting, including from The New York Post, have echoed concerns that Iran may be forced to shut down production at its oil fields as soon as April 29 to avoid overloading storage facilities.
The regime has already exhausted primary offshore storage and is redirecting excess crude to onshore tanks, but overall capacity—estimated at around 122 million barrels—remains critically limited without export outlets.
