A 21-year-old woman narrowly escaped an alleged kidnapping attempt by at least two men as she tried to go to work in Santa Ana.
Chilling security camera footage shows the young woman fleeing for her life after a man ambushed her in broad daylight on Tuesday morning, according to KTLA.
The woman had gotten out of her car when she heard someone say “excuse me,” the victim’s brother told the outlet.

“And as she turned to look to the voice … there was a man right behind a tree that sort of jumped out as she said it and grabbed her arm,” the brother said.
The man tried to pull her to a running Ford Econoline van with another man inside.
His grip was so tight it left her arm red and swollen to twice its normal size, her brother said.
Yet the woman managed to wrench free of his grasp and sprint away.
The attack occurred off Parkcenter Drive in a quiet business district; the Santa Ana Police Department is still investigating the incident.
The California Post reached out to cops for further comment.
