Savanah Hernandez, if you haven't had a chance to see any of her investigative work, is a fearless TPUSA reporter, and she just happens to be adorable on top of it.
John had one of her videos in a post this past fall, where she'd hopped out to take a look into migrants street selling in New York City.
I remember her from her work on the ground in Maine, exposing the giveaways to the illegals Janet Mills and the Democratic Maine legislature were importing, as Maine residents languished.
It was really superb stuff.
I've been lucky enough to use her reporting in everything, from Trump's rally in the Bronx, illegals in Boston, to Tren de Aragua in Colorado, and everything in between.
Savanah's been knee-deep in the middle of Antifa outbursts and the campus Palestinian protests, and this past Saturday, she was outside the Whipple Federal Building in Minneapolis reporting on yet another Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) protest.
It quickly got out of hand when protestors zeroed in on Hernandez, who had been her usual smiling, even-keeled self...at the beginning. I don't know how she does it, but even this was too much for her.
One particular family of three, the Ostroushko's - father, mother, delightful young daughter - all go after Savanah.
The pater familia is a real 250 lb peach pit.
But the entire clan is known to enjoy this sort of family outing.
It's a miracle Hernandez wasn't seriously hurt by the father's sneak-shove-in-the-back attack. There's a dead grandfather in California who can't testify to what an Antifa shove can do when one's brain housing group hits concrete.
It could have been so much worse, and these goons with their whistles and their cowardly lion acts are entirely too comfortable putting their hands and ugly faces where they don't belong.
Savanah has been making the rounds explaining what happened and was under the impression there would be some sort of legal ramifications for the unprovoked attack.
The Soros-backed Hennepin County prosecutor, the same one who is charging ICE agents with Alex Pretti's shooting, slow-walked any charges for so long it looked as if she wouldn't levy any, which, as Professor Jonathan Turley said, was 'undermining faith in the whole system.'
That's if one had any left in a blue state to begin with.
Eventually, days later, supposedly misdemeanor charges were filed against three people: the father, the daughter, and the daughter's boyfriend. Reportedly, police told Savanah they didn't have enough to charge the mother.
...The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office said that three individuals have since been charged with misdemeanor assault, despite the severity of the attack. This includes defendants Chris Ostroushko, 51, and Paige Ostroushko, 20, who are father and daughter. Chris, a 250-pound man and convicted criminal, physically punched and shoved Hernandez to the ground, while Paige made physical contact with Hernandez after intimidating, harassing, and invading the reporter's personal space, video shows.
Charges have not yet been filed against the mother, DeYanna Ostroushko, who was also allegedly involved, as evidenced in the video. The third charged individual is Paige's unnamed boyfriend.
Several other individuals who were observed on video physically striking Hernandez with sex toys have not yet been charged. The investigation remains ongoing.
But no one has been arrested, and I've seen queries asking what gives.
There is a separate federal investigation of the incident underway.
Two goobers who were filming the incident from other vantage points, when asked during an interview by the local Minneapolis CBS affiliate if they felt Hernandez had been assaulted, agreed that she had. But then they said, 'She wanted to get back into it.'
I guess you're not supposed to ever get mad at the throng of people who have just knocked the crap out of lonely you and would happily still be doing so had they not been stopped.
I saw one fellow going frame by frame over the shove clip, and he had to stop to say, 'Had that been MY woman? Not even that. Had I seen some man DO THAT to ANY woman, it would have been ON.'
Those sorts of real men do not attend ICE protests. The shrieking, insane Alex Pretti soy boys, goober vegetables who just want to get laid, and the shove in the back on a tiny girl, 250 lb goon guys are the types who do.
But that's who the Minneapolis media is, as David said in his piece, 'elevating evil doers.'
...Ostroushko is one of the great heroes the media has elevated to demigod status. His behavior is nothing new. He is a violent radical socialist, but until he got caught on camera hitting a young girl, he was a useful spokesman for people like Tim Miller, who is on a mission to "conserve conservatism."
They make excuses and work the sympathies of the listening audience for support as they parade the evildoers on a WAAH We're the Victims tour.

...because he’s unhappy with how negatively the public has reacted to him assaulting a woman on camera.
He is in complete disbelief, stating that, "I've never had anything like this happen in my life".
Chris and Deyanna have been going on a press tour continuing to assert that they are the real victims, despite millions watching the footage of them instigating everything.
There is also a GoFundMe for them, where they are currently trying to raise $8k, stating that they’ve lost their jobs and, “are facing one of the most overwhelming and life-altering moments they have ever experienced”.
The family has still taken zero accountability for any of the violence they committed and are in complete shock that they are facing consequences for their actions.
Last week Chris also did an interview where he lied, stating that his family is “absolutely not violent" and that all he did was "stay back and watch" everything, despite being on camera shoving me multiple times.

...DeYanna claimed Hernandez “backhanded” Paige before Chris pushed her.
“So after that happened, she started to move out of that area … Paige was moving out with her, and she had punched Paige again, so that was a second assault, and then Paige pushed her to defend herself, and then I yelled at Paige and I said, ‘Paige, get back here.’
“And she said, ‘Mom, she punched me.’ And that’s when I said, ‘Don’t effing touch my daughter,’ and that’s when she grabbed me by the throat,” DeYanna said.

Daughter Paige is most assuredly a violent, feisty little thing who seems to go looking for a confrontation so she can fight.
The boyfriend, I am ashamed to say, is reported to be an active duty Marine.

Besides shoving on smallish women, the pater familia has issues with record keeping and honesty, but that seems to be a Minnesota progressive cultural failing.
...In 2005, Ostroushko was convicted after it was found that he had received thousands of dollars in unemployment benefits when he was actually employed, Crime Watch Minneapolis reported.
There's also video of the protestors doing an after-action recap of sorts, where the mother brags about 'tackling' Hernandez. The bearded freak in a hat who walks by her, you also might well recognize as the demonic nutcase who charged into the church with Don Lemon.
The real victims are also reported to be contemplating a civil rights lawsuit because the police interfered with their thrashing of the lone young woman.
The 'evil,' as David calls it, is all organized and weaponized to be executed against the intended target, then immediately spun into justified resistance.
Savanah Hernandez is repeatedly referred to as an 'influencer,' which is some sort of code word in their twisted secret language meant to be a trigger, but it signifies nothing other than an excuse to attack.
It's a stacked deck in any of these uber liberal enclaves, and the vicious pack animals trotting back and forth along the fences know it.
These independent journalists are quite literally risking their lives at this point to bring news from on the ground in what, for all intents and purposes, has become foreign enemy territory, all the way up through the state justice system.

The fellow in the Julio Rosas Xweet doing the interviewing of the delightful Ostroushko couple, Brian Shapiro, has been sending Savanah threatening, vile text messages, hoping this family sues her for defamation. He says he will personally make sure they do.
