Washington, DC has just banned semi-automatic rifles like the AR-15, which is blatantly unconstitutional.
The DOJ, led by Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon, is suing DC to reverse this ban.
It’s absurd to ban semi-automatic rifles, not just because they only shoot one bullet per trigger pull, but because guns are not the problem. People are the problem, and evil people will find a way to kill innocent people, whether it is with a gun, a knife, a car, or whatever hellacious way they come up with.
Banning semi-automatic rifles only hurts the law-abiding citizens who might use them for self-defense. Thank you to Dhillon for bringing this lawsuit.
