'World's sexiest footballer' suffers nightmare as Swiss women lose 7-1 to 14-year-old boys ahead of Euro 2025

Switzerland's women's national football team, including Alisha Lehmann who was voted 'World's sexiest footballer', suffered a crushing 7-1 defeat against FC Luzern's Under-15 boys' side during their preparations for Euro 2025.

Switzerland is due to host the tournament next month, but have been left bitterly disappointed at losing the preparation game in such manner, with the Swiss Football Association trying to keep the result under wraps.

The embarrassing result emerged after footage from the behind-closed-doors friendly was accidentally posted on TikTok by one of the teenage players.

The match, played in three 30-minute segments, was intended to remain confidential.

However, the social media leak exposed not only the dominating scoreline but also revealed that several high-profile players, including Juventus forward Alisha Lehmann, participated in the humiliating loss.

Switzerland took an early lead through Alayah Pilgrim before conceding seven consecutive goals to the youth team.

The Swiss fielded 26 players throughout the match, including third-choice goalkeeper Nadine Bohi, as manager Pia Sundhage rotated her squad extensively.

The result came to light when a Luzern player shared images from the friendly on TikTok.

According to reports, the teenager revealed the final score in the video's comment section before deleting the post.

Lehmann, who boasts 16.7 million Instagram followers and 12 million on TikTok, featured prominently in the leaked footage alongside goalscorer Pilgrim.

This defeat marked Switzerland's second loss to an Under-15 side during their Euro 2025 preparations, having previously fallen 2-1 to FC Solothurn's youth team.

The Swiss women did manage one victory against junior opposition, beating FC Biel's Under-15s 2-1.

Swiss Football Association spokesperson Sven Micosse defended the practice, telling Blick: "It's not uncommon in women's football to compete against junior teams. The goal: to bring a certain competitive element."

He added: "The focus during this phase of preparation is on the physical aspect.

"Regardless of the result, these training matches are very similar to our international matches in terms of intensity and mileage."

Switzerland are scheduled to face Czechia in another friendly on Thursday before opening their Euro 2025 campaign against Norway on 2 July at St. Jakob-Park.

The hosts will also compete against Finland and Iceland in Group A.

Lehmann's participation comes after she received a last-minute call-up to the squad, having been initially omitted by Sundhage.

The 26-year-old secured her place only after FC Koln midfielder Alena Bienz withdrew due to an ankle injury.

Following her inclusion, Lehmann posted on Instagram: "I couldn't be happier to represent my country at the Euros. I'm so grateful for the opportunity.

"Let's make Switzerland proud and show how football is growing."
