A bombshell new study has traced the origin of the latest strain of avian influenza H1N1 (bird flu) to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Poultry Research Laboratory in Georgia.
The peer-reviewed study confirmed that the virus emerged from dangerous gain-of-function research being conducted illegally at the lab.
The study, led by renowned American cardiologist Dr. Peter McCullough, was conducted by the McCullough Foundation.
The findings were published in the journal Poulrty, Fisheries & Wildlife Sciences.
Dr. McCullough raised the alarm over the discovery in a new interview with Del Bigtree on “The HighWire.”
“This strain of bird flu is different,” McCullough warns.
“This looks like it actually came from serial passage research done at the USDA Poultry Research Laboratory in Athens, Georgia …
“We’re so sure of it that we’ve published this in a peer-reviewed paper.
“It hasn’t been disputed by any of the public health officials.
“We cite the USDA research,” McCullough told Bigtree.
“Serial passage is when a blend of viral strains is intentionally put in a mallard duck.
“They were trying to see which strain would pass to other mallard ducks,” McCullough continued.
“The mallard duck is studied because its gullet is where the virus attaches and doesn’t go into the lungs.
“And indeed, they found CLADE 23446 that looked like it transmitted … and sure enough, Athens was where the first cases were found.”
“The mallard ducks could spread it all over and in migratory waterfowl,” McCullough said.
“It quickly spread into mammals, and now up to 40 different species of mammals.”
McCullough pointed out that USDA officials have generally used biosecurity measures such as “sterilizing the entire farm” to stop the spread.
“Well, that doesn’t work because the mallard ducks would just continue to re-infect the farms,” he added.

In a post on X, the McCullough Foundation wrote:
“The current bird flu outbreak is likely the result of gain-of-function serial passage experiments at the USDA Southeast Poultry Research Laboratory—exacerbated by mass culling practices.”
The finding comes after McCullough and several other leading experts issued warnings last month after the USDA approved a “leaky” bird flu “vaccine” for poultry in the American food supply.
The USDA granted conditional approval for a new bird flu “vaccine” created by Zoetis.
However, experts are warning that the new “vaccine” is “leaky” and will cause “new pathogens” to spread through the food supply.
“Leaky vaccines” are those that “do not prevent infection and transmission.”
In a post on X, McCullough warned that “leaky vaccines are likely to result in new pathogens.”
He warned that the approval of the new shot is “the dream” of the “vaccine cartel.”
