Attorney General Pam Bondi has just announced multiple arrests of individuals responsible for domestic terrorist attacks against Tesla property and vehicles.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) has charged three people who were arrested for vandalizing and destroying Tesla cars, dealerships, or charging stations.
The arrests were revealed in a Thursday afternoon statement from Bondi.
The statement declares that:
“All three defendants will face the full force of the law for using Molotov cocktails to set fire to Tesla cars and charging stations.”
“The days of committing crimes without consequence have ended,” said AG Bondi.
“Let this be a warning: if you join this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, the Department of Justice will put you behind bars.”
The DOJ confirmed that the suspects are facing up to 20 years in prison.
One defendant, also armed with a suppressed AR-15 rifle, was arrested after throwing approximately eight Molotov cocktails at a Tesla dealership located in Salem, Oregon.
Another was arrested in Loveland, Colorado after attempting to light Teslas on fire with Molotov cocktails.
The defendant was later found in possession of materials used to produce additional incendiary weapons.
In Charleston, South Carolina, a third defendant wrote profane messages against President Donald Trump around Tesla charging stations before lighting the charging stations on fire with Molotov cocktails.
As Slay News reported, witnesses said the Charleston attacker set himself on fire while throwing Molotov cocktails.
The incident has resulted in an estimated $60,000 in damages to the Tesla charging infrastructure.
Officials said in a statement that police “cut the power to the three charging stations that were burned by the homemade Molotov Cocktails.”
In the DOJ statement, Bondi warned others against joining “this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties.”
“The Department of Justice is committed to ending all acts of violence and arson directed at Tesla properties and otherwise,” the statement concludes.
In a statement Tuesday, Bondi said:
“The swarm of violent attacks on Tesla property is nothing short of domestic terrorism.”
Bondi said all three defendants face serious charges carrying a minimum of five years and up to 20 years in prison.
Shortly after the charges were announced Thursday, Musk quote-tweeted a post on X about the vandalism and said:
“Has there ever been such a level of coordinated violence against a peaceful company?
“I understand not wanting to buy a product, but this is extreme arson and destruction!”
The FBI said it was investigating acts of vandalism against Tesla stores, vehicles, and charging stations as a protest against Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in recent weeks.
Musk has been critical of people vandalizing and destroying Teslas and associated property.
Earlier this week, Musk slammed an attack on a Las Vegas Tesla facility as “deranged.”
The first reported attack was on January 20, the day President Donald Trump was inaugurated, in Salem, Oregon.
The attack involved a man reportedly throwing Molotov cocktails at Tesla vehicles, which began a fire harming one car.
Since then attacks have been reported in Loveland, Colorado; Baltimore; Littleton, Massachusetts; Tigard, Oregon; North Charleston, South Carolina; Seattle, and more.
Meanwhile, the Democrats and their corporate media allies refuse to condemn the attacks.
In some cases, they are openly celebrating.
