The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has extended the liability shield for the experimental COVID-19 jabs through 2029.
“On December 11, 2024, Secretary Becerra signed the 12th amendment to the declaration under the PREP Act for COVID-19 Medical Countermeasures. The Secretary issues this amendment pursuant to section 319F–3 of the Public Health Service Act to extend the duration of the Declaration to December 31, 2029, and to republish the Declaration in full,” the Administration for Strategic Preparedness & Response (ASPR) announced.
Per ASPR:
The Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act (PREP Act) authorizes the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services (Secretary) to issue a PREP Act declaration. The declaration provides immunity from liability (except for willful misconduct) for claims:
- of loss caused, arising out of, relating to, or resulting from administration or use of countermeasures to diseases, threats and conditions
- determined by the Secretary to constitute a present, or credible risk of a future public health emergency
- to entities and individuals involved in the development, manufacture, testing, distribution, administration, and use of such countermeasures
A PREP Act declaration is specifically for the purpose of providing immunity from liability, and is different from, and not dependent on, other emergency declarations.
“The HHS just extended liability protection for Covid-19 vaccine manufacturers through 2029—the year that President Trump will leave office,” American Values wrote.
“The Biden Administration has extended the emergency declaration for COVID-19 through 2029 in an attempt to prevent liability for mRNA COVID “vaccine” manufacturers. It is very likely that @RobertKennedyJr will begin releasing information regarding the lack of safety and efficacy of these jabs and so lawsuits would likely follow,” Tom Renz wrote.
“This last ditch attempt to save big pharma from liability for the chaos they’ve sown in so many lives is likely to be accompanies by other legal maneuvering designed to limit justice,” he added.
Bloomberg Law reports:
https://100percentfedup.com/221369-2/The US Department of Health and Human Services is extending through 2029 liability protections for those producing and administering Covid-19 vaccines, in a move to guard against future potential health emergencies.
The HHS first declared the public health emergency in 2020 in response to the Covid-19 outbreak and continually renewed it up until May 2023. In Tuesday’s notice, however, the HHS noted there remains “a credible risk that COVID-19 may in the future constitute such an emergency.”
