A video emerged yesterday from an Arizona city council meeting where a woman was arrested for daring to accuse members on the city council of wrongdoing.
The mayor of Surprise, Arizona, Skip Hall, had the woman arrested after she was discussing “how much specific city employees are being paid.”
The mayor read a form that claimed that citizens are not allowed to lodge charges or complaints against any specific employee of the city or members of the city council and said she agreed to it.
He asked the woman to leave and she refused, saying he was violating her right to free speech.
Hall had her arrested in front of her 10-year-old daughter.
