The White House has literally said today that Joe Biden will be giving a ‘big boy’ press conference later this week as Biden seeks to convince Democrats of his mental fitness.
Both Karine Jean-Pierre and John Kirby used the phrase ‘big boy’ press conference:
KJP attributed the phrase to Bloomberg, but the fact that she used it from the White House podium is amazing and is quite condescending of the most powerful man in the world who shouldn’t even need to prove his mental fitness for the job.
