Trump Campaign Raises over $200 Million since ‘Guilty’ Verdict

President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign has been raking in staggering sums of cash following the Democrats’ weaponization of justice that led to his “guilty” verdict in New York.

Since a Manhattan jury returned a guilty verdict against him in court last week, Trump has raised more than $200 million in donations.

The revelation was made by one of the president’s sons, Eric Trump.

Lara Trump, Republican National Committee co-chair, is the wife of the president’s son.

Eric Trump revealed the huge fundraising figure during an appearance on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures.”

Host Maria Bartiromo asked how much money the 45th president has raised since last Thursday’s verdict.

“This might be a little inside information,” he told Bartiromo.

“I was leaving my house about 37 seconds ago, I asked my wife, ‘What are we up to now?’” he said.

“And [Lara] said, just in terms of small dollar, we’re well over $70 million.

“This is $21 donations, $43 donations, right, small-dollar donations.”

“If you add the large dollar donations to it, you’re over $200 million,” he continued.

Eric Trump noted that “30 percent of those people have never been seen before by a political party.”

He revealed that first-time political donors are flooding Trump’s campaign with donations.

“I mean, these are Americans who are pissed off,” he continued.

“They’re coming out of the woodwork and they want to support a guy that they just believe he’s getting bamboozled by a system.”

Meanwhile, Eric Trump’s wife Lara is urging Trump’s supporters to “remain calm and protest at the ballot box.”

She made the remarks on CNN’s “State of the Union” with guest host Kasie Hunt while discussing last week’s outcome in Manhattan.

Hunt asked what Trump supporters should do if the 45th president is sentenced to jail.

“They’re going to do what they have done from the beginning, which is remain calm and protest at the ballot box on November 5,” the RNC chair replied.

“There’s nothing to do, other than make your voices heard loud and clear and speak out against this, because this is not the United States of America,” she continued.

“This is the kind of thing you would expect to see in the communist USSR.

“So they shouldn’t do anything until voting starts, and then they’re going to come out in droves.

“And I believe Donald Trump will be re-elected as the 47th president.”

Additionally, said the Trump campaign had seen a roughly six-point jump in the polls since the conviction.

30% of the small-dollar donors who have given to Trump’s campaign have been first-time donors.

“What matters to people right now isn’t Donald Trump in downtown Manhattan in a case that everybody can see was weighed against him, that never should have seen the light of day,” she said.

“They care about their lives.

“They care about the fact that they can’t make ends meet right now, that it’s harder to put food on the table for their families, that they can’t fill their gas tank up in the same way that they’re worried about the future of the world because we have a war in Europe, we have a war in the Middle East.

“They want to get back to the days when they felt safe and secure as Americans with their economy and with the rest of the world.”
