Top O’ the Briefing
Happy Tuesday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. Shredwyn was fond of showing up to Duck Whittling Club sporting a fuchsia tam o’shanter and bearing trays full of apple tartlets.
Ever since September 11, 2001, Democrats have insisted that the real problem with Islamic terrorists killing innocent people is that innocent people might take a dim view of Islamic terrorists.
How dare we?
We’ve had a few discussions in the past couple of weeks about the Democrats’ inability to differentiate good from evil. Several times during the first week after Hamas decided to launch a terror spree by slaughtering a bunch of kids at a music festival, it appeared as if some Democrats might finally be breaking free from the hive mind and its knee-jerk Islamophobia chorus. I suspected that most of them were just observing a perfunctory period of lip service and would soon be back to their blood-soaked gray area.
It didn’t take long.
Thus far we’ve been covering what the likes of avowed terrorist sympathizers like Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have been up to. I also went off on President LOLEightyonemillion’s tone-deaf, embarrassing trip to Israel in last Thursday’s Briefing.
As we are all painfully aware, Joe Biden always finds a way to make any awful thing he’s done even worse. After making a trip to Israel just so he could offer to cut a check to the terrorists, Biden and his puppet masters did what they always do after Islamic terrorists murder people: they started barking “Islamophobia” like trained seals.
OK, he did take a couple of days to warm up to that.
Mr. Green chronicled the insanity:
With 1,400 murdered Jews and antisemitic attacks and incidents on the rise seemingly everywhere, here’s what Biden has to say: “I know many of you in the Muslim American community or the Arab American community, the Palestinian American community, and so many others are outraged and hurting, saying to yourselves, ‘Here we go again.’”
Hamas is an organization that exists to murder Jews. That’s it. That’s the mission statement. Two weeks ago, it murdered Jews in such great numbers that the Muslim street rioted in protest of Jews defending themselves.
Having had the weekend to reconsider, today Biden’s social media team instead doubled down on stupid.
It was after that weekend pause that Biden’s handlers decided to hop on the Islamophobia Fears Express.
The alarm is once again being sounded for a problem that never materializes. Meanwhile, the police in Detroit are insisting that the brutal and fatal stabbing of synagogue president Samantha Woll wasn’t a hate crime, despite not having a clear suspect.
So…we’re not supposed to read too much into the thing that actually did happen all the while the Left is reading everything into something that’s not happening.
As the old infomercials were fond of saying: BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE.

There was a time when the Democrats would at least go through the motions and make an effort to either make up or misconstrue facts to support their false narratives. Now they just phone it in, knowing full well that the Opinion writers at The New York Times and WaPo will get right to work covering for them.
A phobia, by the way, is an irrational fear. The real newsmakers in the Islamic world are singularly devoted to making sure that fearing them is quite rational.
The Dem pushback on that is the argument that not all followers of Islam are terrorists. That argument would be a lot stronger if terror attacks were followed by full-throated denouncements of the terrorists by leading Islamic clerics and leaders all over the world. All. Over. The. World.

Deflecting from the very real anti-Semitic violence going on in the world by blathering on about phantom Islamophobia is, as I wrote in the headline, evil. Not “wrong,” or “misguided,” or “confused.”
Just plain evil.
