The MRC’s investigation into Soros’ past statements and social media activity provides insights into his stances on key issues.
“Alex has shown himself to be even more radically leftist than his father, on issues ranging from supporting abortion and climate change activism to outright anti-American propaganda,” the MRC noted.

MRC’s Joseph Vazquez and Tom Olohan, who spearheaded the research, found Soros had tweeted that former President George W. They also pointed out his support for President Biden’s controversial Afghanistan withdrawal, his calls to abolish the Electoral College, his disparaging remarks about conservative Supreme Court Justices, and his advocacy for decriminalizing “sex work.”
Soros’s extensive social media activity has also shown his close relations with key Democrats, as evidenced by the myriad of photos with prominent figures, including Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York, then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California, and most recently, Vice President Kamala Harris.The MRC’s report raises concerns about the future trajectory of the OSF under Soros’ leadership.
