School district threatens parents with truancy charges if they try to dodge exposing kids to this radical indoctrination

 

Apparently, students in one school district in the Northwest are majoring in leftist ideology this month. 

And a notoriously awful school district just doubled down on pushing the Left’s gender agenda. 

Now, the district is threatening parents with truancy charges if they try to dodge exposing their kids to radical indoctrination.

The Olympia School District in Washington state is making itself infamous thanks to implementing one wild leftist policy after the next.

First one school board director voted to cut funding for music classes. 

According to him the elective is part of “white supremacy” culture causing “significant institutional violence.”

The district is also home to an elementary school that allowed Planned Parenthood to give fourth and fifth graders wildly inappropriate sexual education curriculum including “pubic hair art,” information on puberty blockers, and a “gender wheel” worksheet. 

Now the school district has issued a proclamation declaring June Pride Month in Olympia schools. 

In the proclamation the district claimed that “our students have the right to engage in reflection and honest conversations in school communities on issues of social justice, equity, and the intersectionality of oppression and discrimination.” 

But what they don’t have is the ability to opt out of a boatload of propaganda. 

According to local conservative radio show host, Jason Rantz, the district is absolutely refusing to let parents pull their children from class when the pride curriculum is being taught. 

In fact, the district superintendent claims it’s “offensive to even ask.”

Should have seen this coming when Prayer & the Pledge of Allegiance to the U.S. Flag  were taken out of schools

“The district did not provide any Pride curriculum to the Jason Rantz Show on KTTH when asked,” the radio host reported. “But parents explained that some examples include singing Pride-themed children’s songs, sharing books with transgender characters, and teaching kids to use non-gendered pronouns. Students are compelled to participate.”

In fact, the school district is treating student participation during pride month activities like a legal mandate. 

“The Olympia School District has no opt out process for Pride-related lessons as they are aligned with the standards that are required to be taught within our schools. OSD is committed to gender-inclusive schools, and we will follow the guidance of our governing agency, the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI),” a spokesperson informed Rantz. 

Rants pointed out that parents wanting to pull their kids from class is entirely reasonable considering the district’s track record. 

“OSD is arguably the most extreme district in the state, where propaganda and ideology take precedence over learning,” he noted.

And it is only a matter of time before the insanity ruling the day in Olympia spreads to other school districts across the nation as examples of radical gender ideology being shoved down students’ throats are beginning to come out of even small rural schools in conservative states.
