“ Weak politicians and cultural relativists have destabilized Europe by letting millions of migrants into the continent, many of whom come from Islamic countries and embrace the violent and totalitarian Islamic Sharia law. ”
Geert Wilders, the leader of the Netherlands Party for Freedom, delivered a powerful speech at the convention hosted by AndrĂ© Ventura, the founder, and leader of Portugal’s national conservative party, Chega. Wilders and other high-profile conservative leaders were invited to speak at the event as part of an effort to strengthen political alliances across Europe.
In his speech, Wilders emphasized the importance of strong, independent, and sovereign nation-states, where people are proud of their own culture, national identity, and, most of all, freedom. He spoke about the values of Judeo-Christian heritage that underpin European civilization and the need to protect these values from destructive ideologies like Islam and vocalism.
“We shall never accept tyranny, not from our governments, not from the European Union, and certainly not from destructive ideologies like Islam and wokism,” Wilders said.
Wilders also spoke about the threat of Islamic migration to Europe and the dangers of Sharia law, which he argued are incompatible with Western values.
“Many parts of Western European cities like Brussels, Amsterdam, Paris, and London resemble Northern Africa. Today, millions of people have become foreigners in our own streets and in our own town. And I say enough is enough. It is time to reclaim our continent to reclaim our lands, our cities, and our streets. And we should make clear that we are in charge and nobody else,” Wilders said.
Wilders praised Portugal for its success in managing immigration but warned that the European Parliament, which is corrupt and controlled by leftist politicians who Arabs and Moroccans often bribe, poses a significant threat to the future of Europe. He urged conservative European parties to join forces and work towards election victories in 2024 to bring about much-needed change.
“The need for change is greater than ever before. And we together can bring that change. So let us combine forces let us work hard towards an election victories of our parties in 2024. And today, we are here from various European nations to reaffirm our friendship. We are here to tell the elites in the national capitals and in Brussels, we are on our way, you will not be able to stop us, and we will be winning next year,” Wilders said.
Wilders concluded his speech by calling on the Portuguese people to be proud of their heritage and to continue fighting against the Islamization of their country and Europe as a whole.
“We can take the example of Portugal; you did a far better job than we did. So, you Portuguese, be proud of yourself because you are very brave people,” Wilders said.
Wilders’ speech was well-received by the audience at the convention, and his message of solid and independent nation-states and the need to protect Western values resonated with many conservatives across Europe. Ventura announced the past Friday that Chega would be hosting a world summit in Lisbon in May, with a lineup of high-profile conservative leaders, including Wilders himself, set to attend.
