Mess of screaming dems show up to undermine SCOTUS over student loan debt

The exact same Democrat Party figures who screech incessantly about how Republicans are allegedly trying to undermine America’s institutions are themselves now desperately trying to undermine the legitimacy of the Supreme Court.

Why? Because the Supreme Court is currently hearing arguments pertaining to President Joe Biden’s unilateral student loan forgiveness. Moreover, based on the makeup of the court, the high court is expected to rule against the executive order.

This has Democrats across the country “pissed off,” starting with American Federation of Teachers union boss Randi Weingarten.

Speaking at a protest outside the Supreme Court on Tuesday, the staunch Democrat Party ally experienced a meltdown as she ranted and raved about SCOTUS’ potential decision-making.

Watch:

“Frankly, and this is what really pisses me off. During the pandemic, we understood that small businesses were hurting, and we helped them, and it didn’t go to the Supreme Court to challenge it. Big businesses were hurting, and we helped them, and it didn’t go to the Supreme Court to challenge it,” she screamed.

“All of a sudden, when it’s about our students, they challenge it, the corporations challenge it, the student loan lenders challenge it. That is not right, that is not fair, and that is what we are fighting as well when we say cancel student debt. This is about the people, and it is about the people’s future, and it is about all of your futures,” she ranted.

She neglected to note that during the pandemic, businesses were forcibly shuttered by the government, ergo why they were later paid back with forgivable loans. Students, on the other hand, were not forced to attend college.

Democrat Party legislators have also been getting in on the Supreme Court bashing, including Congressional Progressive Caucus chair Pramila Jayapal.

“The reality is that if the Supreme Court was just looking at legal authority and not the politics, if this wasn’t an extreme MAGA court that seems to be bringing things other than the legal analysis into question, I think this would be an open and shut case,” she told Axios.

Notice how she smeared the Supreme Court as partisan just because it is poised to vote against her wishes.

The irony is that if everybody were “just looking at legal authority,” there would be no complaints to make about the high court because the facts make it clear President Biden lacked the legal authority to unilaterally eliminate student loan debt, as once noted by former Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi:

Some Democrat lawmakers aren’t just complaining about the court — they’re making demands of them. Take New York Rep. Jamaal Bowman.

“SCOTUS needs to follow the law and cancel student debt,” he tweeted Wednesday.

He also appeared outside the Supreme Court to rant and rave like Weingarten.

“The president has the authority to cancel student debt, period. We are demanding that the Supreme Court just follow the law and do what’s right. That’s why you are there. To follow the law,”  he screamed.

Watch:

Critics say what he was really asking for was for the high court to IGNORE the law and do what the Democrat Party demands.

In related news, Fox News host and comedian Greg Gutfeld responded to all this whining and gnashing of teeth by mocking the whiners.

“How can you be a liberal when everybody that represents you screams so loudly? We just saw four people screaming, as if they were faced with the apocalypse because other people don’t want to hand over their money to them. And somehow it’s the end of the world, because we refuse to hand over our money for nothing?” he said on Fox News’s “The Five.”
