After Kristi Noem Goes After China Infiltration – The Governor Gets Double-Crossed by Her Own Party

It’s no secret that communist China is making inroads into the United States. And we’re not just talking about spy balloons. The communist nation has been “investing” in American industries as a means of controlling them. Hell, they’ve taken all our manufacturing away, why not destroy everything else?

But the most alarming scheme has been attempts by the country to buy up our farmland. China is aggressively buying land all across America. Some of it is dangerously close to our military bases. Democrats and even big businesses aren’t stopping it. Gov. Noem of South Dakota proposed a plan to prevent China from buying the ground out from under us. But her own party betrayed her.

Republican South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem’s efforts to block China from buying up farmland in her state were thwarted this week when a supermajority of state Senators rejected her proposal…

“The bill faced opposition from nearly every agriculture industry group in committee testimony. But the proposal’s supporters on the Senate floor said any flaws would be rectified before it becomes law,” reported South Dakota Public Broadcasting (SDPB).

Isn’t that disgusting? Republicans in the state Senate blocked Noem’s proposal to prevent China from buying up all our farmland. Lawmakers claimed it was because the bill would have given the governor too much power.

Don’t buy it. According to reports, lobbyists from the farm industry pushed to block the measure. These are big corporations that control most of the agriculture in our country. And when they think of China buying up all our farms, all they can see are dollar signs.

They don’t seem to care that they are giving away yet another industry to our enemies. They don’t seem to care that they are selling away family-owned farms to a communist nation. How long before China buys up every last American farm? They’ve already taken our factories, now our food?

Republican lawmakers bowed to lobbyists who don’t care that China is also trying to get close to our military bases. In North Dakota, a Chinese firm bought land to “grow corn.” Yet the land couldn’t produce enough corn to make it profitable. But the land was close to an Air Force base!

For any American, or American company, to support China buying our land is close to treason. China is hellbent on destroying the United State’s competitive edge around the world. They’d buy up our entire country if they could, shipping all our resources overseas.

Yet Democrats and Republicans let it happen, because of their greed.
