Here’s a video that shows exactly what Gov. Ron DeSantis was trying to get out of Florida public schools — teacher-led lessons on gender identity and sexual orientation in kindergarten through third grade. The money quote comes about a minute and a half in when one of the teachers says it was a “huge testament” that one of the young children brought up that the doll might be non-binary without having to be prompted. Who gets the pat on the head: the boy who said that kids can be boys or girls, or the girl who said the doll could be non-binary?
This was shown to daycare owners in NC.
A teacher used a doll to teach gender identity to 4-5 year olds.
When a child brings up “non-binary,” the teachers say it’s “a huge testament to how much we’ve been talking about it in the classroom” & “it’s constantly in conversation” pic.twitter.com/ufpRTwkXO1

Who showed the video to daycare owners?

It was shown at a training given by NC Association for the Education of Young Children (NCAEYC)
The documentary is called "Reflecting on Anti-bias Education in Action: The Early Years," there's a link to it on the NCAEYC website:https://t.co/yO7t47Y6Lt

Why do they always refer to children as “kiddos”? This is awful…

How about all the teachers that want to teach this start their own schools and all the parents that want to buy into it can send their kids thereππΏ ππ€π

Profoundly sickening to witness

When a child brings up 'non-binary', the child should be told to ask their mom and dad about it. Now let's get out our spelling books, kids.

Can “they” just teach math and English. Maybe throw in some science.

That's creepy.

At this point parents are just going to have to step up and take their kids out of school and find a better one. These people aren't going to stop.

This shouldn't be in any classroom let alone preschool! Stop talking about sex and gender to our kids! Let the kids be kids and leave them alone!!

They need get to them while they are young and impressionable. That’s what these groomers are always doing.

Get to them before their parents’ cisnormativity takes root in their brains and they think two genders is “normal.”
Anyone that refers to children as “kiddos” clearly wants to be their friend instead of their parent or their instructor. Unless, of course they’re trying to groom them into thinking that they are something they’re not
