Demented...lol - What is a demi boy?

Do these idiots not know the meaning of demented? Looks like they finally have the correct meaning!

What is a demi boy?

queer, trans, demisexualityasexuality, non-binary and dementing – more and more terms are popping up to define his gender and sexuality. And that’s just as well. However, with so many expressions, it’s easy to lose track – that’s why we’re going to clarify what defines demiboys and demigirls.

We spoke to Tobias, who describes himself as demiguy or demiboy and pansexual. He is 17 years old and lives in Asia.

Demiboy or Demigirl – what is that actually?

One describes oneself as demented if one cannot identify one hundred percent with one’s gender. As a demiboy or demimann, you only partially define yourself as a man. However, a demiboy or demigirl is comfortable enough with their gender to keep it. Tobias sees it similarly, when he explains his gender to others, he describes himself as half a boy.

Demigender is a subcategory of non-binary gender identity, that is, the binary system of female and male gender is not considered appropriate. In contrast to non-binary people, Tobias feels a bit more of a gender inside. And just for people like him, it’s important that there are demigenders as another subcategory of nonbinary. The extent to which the respective gender is accepted is up to each individual.

Demigender and trans – does that even work?

Incidentally, it is not relevant whether you were born as a demiboy in the male gender or have changed gender to a man. For example, a demiboy can also be a trans person at the same time. The same goes for demigirls, they don’t necessarily have to be female by birth. You feel a bit like a woman, but not only.
