President Trump has been vindicated once again. Big League Politics had
previously reported back in October that New York City had voted to remove
a statue of Founding Father Thomas Jefferson from the City Hall:
The New York City Public Design Commission voted unanimouslyon Monday to remove a statue of American President and founding
father Thomas Jefferson from city hall, assailing the revolutionary leader and author of the constitution as a white supremacist and racist.
Sadly, the day has finally come. Monday, November 22nd, the statue of the beloved
third president was officially removed from the New York City Hall. The 884lbs
plaster of the Declaration of Independence author was reportedly taken out of the
building by roughly a dozen workers over the course of several hours on Monday.
The New York Historical Society has announced that it will be taking in the
monument after it was expelled from the Hall.
Unsurprisingly this was predicted by none other than the 45th President of the
United States, Donald J. Trump. In his speech to the press in the aftermath of
the infamous 2017 Unite the Right Rally in Charlottesville, Trump talked about
the importance of defending historical statues.
“So this week it’s Robert E. Lee. I noticed that Stonewall Jackson’scoming down. I wonder, is it George Washington next week? And is
it Thomas Jefferson the week after? You know, you really do have to
ask yourself, where does it stop?”
“He was a major slave owner,” Trump asserted. “Now are we gonna take
down his statue?”
It is clear that the left is trying to destroy our history and our American identity as they
continue to push the window further and further. First it started with Confederate Statues,
now they are ridding us of our nation’s very own founding fathers, who is next? The
madness must end soon, or it will consume our entire country until it is no longer even
recognizable.
