With Biden corruption,
it always is back to China.
Hunter Biden appears on CBS Sunday Morning on April 4, 2021.
Oh, how the Left media devoted four years of the Trump presidency to a narrative that the Trumps were in it just to get rich at the expense of American suckers. A favored storyline was that Donald Trump, Ivanka, the sons, Jared Kushner, the hotels, casinos, and golf courses all were awash in cash and secretly leveraging the 45th presidency to milk a financial windfall.
Those media never found anything, did they? As with the corrupt Steele Dossier that Hillary Clinton paid for via the Perkins Coie law firm, via Fusion GPS, so it was with this myth: the pursuit to find Trump corruption went nowhere but occupied not column inches, but square feet and square miles and four years of lies. Yet the same media overlooked financial corruption all over D.C. and among their favored players. Michael Cohen and the taxi medallions. Michael Avenatti and Nike. The Clintons and their honoraria and the Clinton Foundation. Michelle Obama and the Chicago hospital. Obama and Tony Rezko.
In contemplating the pay-to-play corruption, nowhere has there ever been as much evident and overt financial filth under the color of the White House as there has been in the Biden orbit. Some day, perhaps in another era, someone will look back when there no longer is a Left to cover up Biden nonfeasance, malfeasance, and misfeasance. Someday, the entire story will come out: Biden’s lifetime of manipulating White assembly-line Rust Belt union workers, playing them for dummies, and posing as a working-class stiff from Scranton who rides the trains. Give the guy his due: In one solitary area of life, Biden truly figured out and discovered the color of his parachute, the one and only area where he really does excel: making wealthy people of nuclear family mediocrities by empowering and enabling them to leverage his government roles to gain them insider access to millions. George Neumayr has written on it. So has Peter Schweizer. But there always is more because, for the Bidens — especially Hunter — it is never enough.
When we all learned of Hunter Biden’s $50,000-a-month Burisma position, sitting on the board of directors of a Ukrainian energy company, the decades of schemes finally become impossible to overlook. Hunter knew nothing about Ukraine nor about energy, but there he was on their board while Daddy was vice president of the United States, assigned as Obama’s point man on all things Ukrainian.
Eнергії? Xабар? Connect those dots.
It never ends with the Bidens, and particularly with Hunter’s schemes to milk his father’s government career for every greenback he can. Call it “Arrangement in Hunter Green.”
A laptop that holds secrets protected by Facebook. Then Hunter as a Person of Color: an artist! Not only dots to connect, but also paint by numbers. $10,000? $25,000? $50,000? $100,000? Imagine — owning a Hunter Biden original. Or, as they ask on those late-night infomercials: “And now how much would you pay?”
It is said that Pablo Picasso once called the police after a break-in at his Barcelona studio. He had seen the suspect, and the police arrived with the usual forensic sketch artist to get the description and draw the crook’s face. But this crime victim was furious: “You police will not insult me this way. Rather, I the Great Picasso shall draw the face of the man who has perpetrated this dastardly deed!”
And, sure enough, the very next day the Barcelona police arrested a man with three noses, four left hands, and two eyes on the back of his head.
So, after all, how price a Hunter Biden? Does it matter whether done in charcoal, acrylic, oil, or papier-mâché? Does the easel matter — or the ease? The fixative — or the fix? The palette — or the pal?
So a person goes to a gallery and buys three Hunters for $225,000 at $75,000 a pop. Or maybe just one to access the Pop. Not everyone owns a Hunter Biden — besides Burisma — so the paying owners stand out. Perhaps they get to meet the artist. Or his dad.
Now, China. Redux. With Biden corruption, it always is back to China. Or since Hunter is a painter steeped in rich colors — Hunter Green and Red China.
We now learn that Hunter Biden co-started an investment firm, and that company helped China get a $3.8 billion cobalt mine — while Daddy Joe was Obama’s vice president. According to the New York Times, Hunter Biden launched Bohai Harvest RST (BHR) Equity Investment Fund Management Company with two other Americans and some Chinese partners in 2013. They then worked to help China Molybdenum purchase a Congo cobalt and copper mine for $2.65 billion. BHR held a minority stake in the mine and sold it two years later to China Molybdenum. Through it all, Hunter controlled 10 percent of BHR. While a Hunter spokesman denied his having a connection, Fox News reported they reviewed Chinese business records proving that Hunter continued holding a 10 percent portion in BHR through Skaneateles LLC, another Hunter company.
So much corruption. So much hypocrisy. So many double standards. So disgusting — in any color.
