Summary by JW Williams
Several videos that show the Capitol Police incited violence on January 6 by shooting flashbangs and tear gas into crowds of peaceful patriots have been released by independent parties. The White House and Department of Justice refuse to release over 14,000 hours of video from that day.
Philip Anderson, a black Trump supporter and activist who had his front teeth knocked out by Antifa several months prior to January 6, says the Capitol Police killed 34-year old Rosanne Boyland. He was next to her, holding her hand when she died. Anderson was gassed with clouds of pepper spray, pushed down, and then nearly trampled to death as police officers pushed people on a pile outside the US Capitol, on the steps. This photo shows Philip Anderson, nearly unconscious, being dragged away by Trump supporters after being crushed under a pile of bodies on January 6. Three other witnesses have come forward and accused Capitol Police in the death of Boyland.
The Washington DC Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Francisco Diaz said Boyland’s first cause of death was “Acute Amphetamine Intoxication,” but Boyland had an Adderall prescription, which is an amphetamine. The Gateway Pundit wrote that blunt trauma should have been apparent after the police allegedly pushed the crowd on top of Rosanne and then beat her with a stick as she lay motionless. Unfortunately, Boyland was cremated shortly after her autopsy.
Many say that Boyland was a victim of police brutality towards unarmed protesters. An officer with the badge #5869 was identified in a video appearing to beat an unarmed, defenseless and unconscious woman on the steps of the West Terrace of The United States Capitol with a long stick. A researcher released the name of a female officer who has the same badge number. It is not clear in the video if the blows were what killed Boyland, if she was already dead as she was beaten, or if she died shortly afterwards. As concerned citizens, we deserve to know if an officer is responsible for another protester’s death, and who that officer is.
